as soon as you are level 16-17 and you can pick the first middle skill, pick the turret rockets in the green tree. That skill is too good. Anyways I think the green tree is very good for lower levels, reload speed/turret buffs are way better in the first levels.
"Axton leveling guide" (proceeds to make a level 72 build specifically targeted only toward uvhm, pretty much building exactly the opposite of a leveling build)
@@Blizzardman1998 he didnt show the path from 1 to op10, he just did each skill tree fully, not following the levels. Is he actually focusing into one only skill branch and then going for the others as he goes leveling up? thats what you do on a leveling guide, explaining what to do with each single skill point one by one.
Nah man, if you choose to go turret frenzy, you can get both the slag turret skill and the ability to use 2 turrets. That's 4 guns wrecking face while you shoot the crap out of them as well.
@@Perry....bro add me. I’m working on a melee zero to get to op10 then work on axton and then gauge since I’ve never played them in all these years. I’m on ps5
I personally prefer going down to the Guerilla tree first and getting Scorched Earth and Double Up as soon as possible. In NVHM turrets are the most effective.
Laser Sight summed up: Turret: *has aimbot* Lead dev: hey, let’s give them a perk that gives the turret more accuracy Another dev: wouldn’t it be better if it gave the turret more damage instead? I mean, it already has perfect accur- Lead dev: NO NO NO, MORE ACCURACY IS BETTER Community: this perk is f*cking useless.
Fastball and Skyrocket grenade are a must. Grog Nozzle and Slagga for slag. The Badaboom is a great launcher and easy to get, but others will also do well. Otherwise it’s really up to you and what you like. Whatever weapons are usually good, are also good with Axton. His major damage bonuses are for grenades and launchers though.
Tried this damn build out, before I made my own build, was super fucking difficult to stay alive, but with this I just destroy everything, and if I need to I can make a quick escape by just throwing a fastball, and running.
Julian F There is a thing in the game called health gating. Essentially, nothing can one shot you due to it. It cause you to have a fraction of health left, but if you heal above a certain threshold you can be health gated again. So essentially less health means you can heal above the health gate threshold faster.
Thanks so much for the reply man. Very much appreciated. After you mentioned this, I've been doing some 'googling' on the subject. Going to see if I understand it correctly and give it a go. You don't perhaps have a video showcasing this? Or plan to do one?
I think more because this isn't exactly a level up build, you're going to be switching things at different levels if you're really looking to optimize. This is just a final level build that he took one step at a time. This doesn't help someone at level 1, this is an opinion video for someone at level 72. There's a pretty significant difference.
You want it to be easier to get 2 points above 50% of your health to avoid being one shot. This is more important for raiding than it is general mobbing though
This was the toughest guide for me to make as I wasn't super familiar with Axton. I didn't prioritize it, but its only one point that you can take from anything else. If it suits your play style I say go for it.
@@agentlomax maglock is hugely beneficial in UVHM in areas that are not open with places to hide. The higher you throw it the better the coverage. In open areas your turret can target everything for slagging and while it's on cooldown you can use slag singularity grenades and Torgue weapons. Try to max your grenade damage as much as possible because it also benefits some explosive weapons.
I agree that Grit is an amazing skill, but (and this is going to seem like a contradiction, but hear me out) I think Grit is a trap and a waste of points. First, the only reason to get Grit is if you are trying to get down to Gemini, because other than Preparation, Quick Charge, and Pressure, the skills in the Survival tree are not that good for Axton's overall survivability. Second, relying on a skill that is RNG-based for a build is inherently flawed - maybe it works, maybe it doesn't. Take a skill that is always on or on each time something occurs (kill skill or "shield depleted" or "low health" skill).
There’s a bunch of people saying misleading or this isn’t a levelling guide my reaction is shut up. And why do people want to farm xp, I feel as if your 2 level higher than the game wants you to be it breaks the flow of gameplay and it is a levelling guide becuase he’s telling us what skills to use from 1-72
