My little brother and I have done a couple of e-tech only challenge runs and in those runs we have found some of the most insane e-tech world drops, including: - Multiple e-techs in lockers (including a plasma caster) - A bandit spiker in a cardboard box - A maliwan railer in a dumpster at level 4
My first legendary in BL2 was a Sledge's Shotgun that I got from a locker in Sawtooth on one of my very first playthroughs of the game on PS3. Didn't even know about legendaries back then, didn't know it was a rare item, just wondered about the red text.
The Handsome Jack cutout in the beginning of Digi Peak. I vaguely remember you talking about it before. I think you mentioned it was possible. Would be the 'ultimate' world drop farm.
I remember getting a storm front in a locker back years ago in the bloodshot stronghold, lost my mind. I’ve also gotten a thunderball fists in a little container down where you get the core in three horns divide
Back in 2016, I was doing my usual run through Creature Preserve with my Psycho or Siren, don't remember which. Opened a locker and got Level 72 Neogenerator shield out of it.
Toilets are grey chests by Bandit, so not those. Bullymong piles, Spiderant egg Sacks (or spider). Those are all trash piles. But I wonder how many runs for legendary in paper box. It only spawns pistols, got Thunderball fists out of it. Or the Stalker Sacks (without midgets) in DLC1
My wife got a pearlescent from the middle locker to your left as soon as you enter the commander hub in sanctuary. Right in between the 2 bunk beds. It was back on the 360 so I had no way to record it. But she got the stalker from it. Rarest drop I have seen in the bl2.
will never forget the time me and my friend were farming loot midgets on normal mode at the wildlife preserve and we got the bee shield from a locker. took a screenshot and still have it today. i make sure to open that locker every single run now but have never gotten anything special again.
There was a time i got a black hole from a locker while farming loot midgets, i was so thrilled i immediately took a print and went asking what was the probability lol. Even though it's severely underleveled, i still got this black hole to this day, just to remember it :)
those ice piles at the beginning of the game if we were to consider every playthrough played by every player, they could be the most opened type of item container or farm claptraps house
They really need to add where the item came from on the item card. Would make it a lot more interesting and will allow me to remember the special drops we save in our banks.
Hey Joltz, if it's not too much trouble, i'd like to see a video kinda breaking down how BL1's parts work, because it confuses the heck out of me, some parts cause different animations and I don't think it's the magazines/cylinders. Love the content, can't wait to see how crazy the guns in BL4 are
Hey Joltz! great content as always, even the simpler videos like this never fail to entertain when coming from you. I've been watching a ton of your content recently and I think I got an idea you may wanna explore at some point. Maybe a random video idea you can do while you take a break from the playthrough grind hehe. Watching your Krieg x5 spawns series I learned about the entity cramming / weird hitboxes that Haderax has, and I happened to remember that old video you made about the Boom Puppy and its pseudo-bore behaviour. The two things clicked in my mind. I haven't really played bordelands games in years so I'm super rusty (I wasn't great even back then lmao) but I fired up BL2, got myself a Boom Puppy and tried and see if the grenade bounce pseudo-bore worked on Haderax. Despite not having a good build or gear to try it, the glitch seemed to work and do something; the grenades seemed to get stuck bouncing inside its worm body. I would love to see someone actually skilled put a proper build together and tor to find out if the Boom Puppy glitch can actually do anything significant to this enemy, as I wasn't able to exploit the effect myself before getting downed each time I tried. Keep it up!
I remember playing couch co-op with my cousin and we'd play solo when we wanst with each other. I found a legendary shotgun in the trash bin in thousand cuts. At the time we only thought we could get legendaries from boss fights and missions. I was so hype.
Fun fact Joltz: my first pearlescent ever was inside a Locker while farming the four loot midget in the bloodwind fight Arena (i forgot the name...) it was the avenger !
Honestly, i want to see a video of Joltz making a fully decked out character with BAR on I know it makes the easier in a sense, but considering how high his BAR is, i think it would be pretty cool to see just how overpowered it could be
One of my first world drops i got in bl2 was from a skag pile in the beatdown. Used scorn in the alley next to the washing machienes and a hammerbuster came flying out. So skagpiles would be nice to see 😁
Not to brag… like some years ago, in the idk bonelands or smth map, in the t.k house or idk, I opened a locker and unexpectedly got the LONGBOW storm front (correction), it was a great one.
The first time playing this game I ended up getting a madhouse from tannis’ room (not the chest) and it’s always why I open every box, locker, pile etc. worth.
i started a new playthrough after around 4 years of not playing. was doing Plan B mission and was opening lockers in Scooters while waiting. and got a level 7 cradle
Once i got a hornet in a sanctuary locker while playing with my friend, i dropped it to show him and to check parts as i didn't know them yet and it fell through the floor
A little behind on this video but a few years ago I got an avenger from a locker in the Preservation in the small room where the first objective is in Doctors Orders. Pretty cool even though it was trash lol
the idea of a double legendary reminds me of something from the 3D remake of Final Fantasy 3. in that version the optional boss Odin can have his spear stolen and its the 2nd strongest spear in the game (if you don't unlock special blacksmith weapon for Dragoon). but Odin also has a chance of naturally dropping it so you could theoretically get two Gungnirs and have an insanely shitty glass cannon character. but hey, at least you'll probably one-shot Bahamut with Jump!
Bullymong/skag piles, I got a stormfront at knuckledragger and a pandemic in wildlife and now find myself shooting every pile I see trying invane to get another.
The first time i played B2 was with my friend when it just released, and first thing i did after starting the game, is open every container, and last place was toilet where i got hornet, on what my friend said "wow, that's huge" And after, we got another hornet from the first boss. After that i thought legendary items were easy to get, until we started farming doc mercy for infinity(we've spent like 2h for 2 of them)
I remember my first ever legendary drop was a harold from the locker in the secret room in the bloodshot stronghold, spent almost 3 hours farming that spot thinking it was the drop source after that
I got a Thunderball fist from Captain Flint on my first run, I was so new to the game that I didn’t even know the difference between rarities. I ultimately quit for a couple of months because I got stuck at Frost Canyon because I didn’t know anything about the system. I was using level 6 guns still.
is hyperious supposed to drop any of the following on normal mode? The devastator, tattler, veruc, hellfire, or actualizer well I got all of those while farming hyperious (did like 200 kills or something for all of those)
You should farm the tina slot machine for pearl! Fun fact it's the only way to drop pearl in borderlands pre lvl 50, I did it it took me 10 hours so good luck!
