Great edit I liked this one a lot I was wondering if you would ever plan on using usogui chars in your edits? It would be cool to see Ayanokoji vs lalo Hal or Baku
Whats your opinion on this matchup? IMO : koji mid diffs (-). Johan's manipulation is good but it wont work on koji that effectively. And koji's intelligence will toy with johan so hard. And i have more cats going on koji's side. Whats ur opinion🤔
@@jackthezodiac6136 I have Johan below Lelouch level, but very close. That being said I don't have Koji vs Johan nearly close enough to warrant High Diff or above.
When making the final diff, is how well each character counters each other considered? Im not sure it's even a real thing, but given Johans proficiency in manipulation and Koji's lack of emotions to be manipulated, could it be argued that Johans is countered and therefore decreasing the diff?
To a degree yes. When I determine a final diff I consider both outscaling and countering as part of it. While I give serious weight to countering it can only change the winner if the matchup is close. If one character vastly outscales the other than countering won't matter as much. In this case, Johan's reliance on emotional manipulation and his lack of an ability to create layered strategies to deceive Koji would lead to Koji countering here as you pointed out. In this case it would lead to Ayanokouji winning with a lower diff than had I not considered countering.
Beautiful edition. Could you explain in detail why you gave EU, Bluffing, Fabrication, Misdirection, Sophistry, Relationship Management, Psychology and Non Fixed Situation to Ayanokoji? And also why did you give EF, Information Control, Trap Setting and Planning Preparation to Johan? (If you could explain each of these points in detail, I would be happy).
Don't even know how he takes EQE or EM (Even Intra-Em) Johan realized that their mother's thought process was, "Which one she didn't really need." So, Johan cherishes Anna after, which is why he says anything can be Anna's when they're young and shit like that. Johan was basically being the mother that they never had, since Johan really assumed that his mother just dumped his sister because she didn't think she needed her like she Johan, so Johan feels entitled to always be a guardian of Anna and aforementioned Cherish, this means eliminating the people that would want to hurt them in any shape or form. Which is why Johan always killed the foster parents, however, he also did where Anna would never know. Because he knows that him and Anna are a very special thing a special bond of sorts. So Johan makes sure that when he kills he does it where she won't be aware of it. Which why Johan distracted Anna from the dead fosters by having her chase him with the flower he had. This is proof because once Anna found out, Johan felt sad, not because he was caught, but because the relationship he had with Annas has now been crushed. So, to make sure she doesn't live with a memory of her brother being a bad guy, she offers her to shoot him in the head. (Johan's broken EQE) (Not done.)
Johan manipulated his captors into releasing him (Most likely even though it just says that he manipulated them, but it said nothing about suicide, you could make that argument though) this is impressive because those are the people that locked him up in Kinderheim because he had the power to kill people with words (Making him that of a monster) so the fact that he manipulated adults (Jailors) into possibly releasing them (Since he manipulated them) is impressive, it's also stated that Johan has superhuman levels of brainwashing, having Richard commit suicide with just words (Which is also broken VCI because for comprehension he had to comprehend the meaning behind the words and how impactful they'll be for a successful suicide manipulation attempt, for similarities it's basically the same thing, as for vocabulary he had to use the right words to instigate a successful suicide, words that'll leave a huge impact on Richard, because Richard is a smart detective in addition to him being led by intuition as well, so for him to get manipulated like that by Johan is insane. Johan's most broken EU moment this is also broken EQE from Johan obviously) Johan in another monster was able to resist sleeping pills at such a young age. In addition to Johan's perfect plan to have Tenma kill him after freeing Anna of all the things that'll bring back her trauma and keep her safe overall, then it was all about eliminating himself, he had to make a choice to eliminate himself just so he could keep protect Anna (Because Johan knows that nothing will be the same after all he's done, so he makes a decision to kill himself, and stray away from his sister Anna, the only light in his world, where he thought only Darkness existed, and Anna was his only Light, and he's literally making a decision that'll make him absent from the love his life (Pause) even though he doesn't necessarily need to (Like he can turn himself in) (That's crazy Stress tolerance, Mental Toughness, Perseverance due to him doing everything that he's ever done in the Manga like killing a lot of people, was just for Anna which also makes it broken Emotional Engagement. Johan also has broken EQE because of his kid days with Anna, because Johan wanted to do everything for Anna, basically being the mother/parent that they never really had, especially since their mother took them apart from each other with no remorse (To an extent at least) this would have Johan make Anna his world (Never parting ways from each other) this is also why Johan killed the foster parents everytime people came into their lives because the monster (Franz Bonaparte) would've found them, so he had to make decision and kill people, and when Anna found out it was over for Johan, basically Johan didn't want Anna to remember him like that (A killer, especially her brother) so Johan wants her to end his life even if that means straying away from the only light in his world. (The only person Johan ever loved in his life) (This broken EQE and Intra-Em on Johan's part, especially when he took the role of the monster from Anna just so Anna wouldn't have to be a monster, because it was Anna that was chosen to be the monster but Johan took that from her.) (That's it for now)
You asked about like half the categories in the edit lol, but I can drill down on some of these if you want. EU - Chabashira's motivations analysis Fabrication - Love Letter or Rumor Strike Misdirection - X Strategy Arc Bluffing - Ryuuen Transaction Sophistry - Ichinose V9 Relationship Management - Hirata and Kei Manipulation Non-Fixed To Ayanokouji due to his better Strategy, Planning, Deception, and LR Planning Prep to Johan due to his general longer timeframe and more in depth planning process Trap Setting and Info Control are both close but I gave to Johan because he has more consistent feats here than Koji. Trap Setting might end up going to Koji after I finish fully analyze his Love Letter strategy. If you have specific questions about certain categories lmk
@@FangYuan-w7e I didn’t read the novel no.The best feat I’ve heard is when he beat a computer that could calculate 20,000,000 moves in a second which would be the same as deep blue the first computer to be made for chess
@@yazsob8259 Not really sure what you mean lol. Anyway, I don't think Social Integration and Social Engineering should be switched. Johan is better at leveraging Social interactions to gain influence or information (Engineering) and Koji is better at integrating himself and adapting to social situations. (Integration) In fairness they are both very strong in both categories but I have Johan above in Social Engineering and Koji above in Social Integration.
@@TheHuntsman1001 in mytson channel you know it's a hybrid wis/scd channel even though it is 90% wis and 10% scd Ofc in that community poll Johan won against Kouji (but again I kind of expected that because most of the voters are from wis). And they can't even put an argument against on how Johan wins against Kouji
Opinions on takes are always subjective, but let's not overlook the fact that many people who make edits for SCD are often casual readers or haven't fully engaged with the series they're using. On the other hand, i believe Huntsman is one of the few who genuinely dives deep into the characters he features. He takes his time thoroughly analyzing their abilities before making an edit. Whether or not you agree with the take, at least it's coming from someone who has a solid grasp of the characters involved.
@@klfcn26 I would agree that his ER is very strong and I have it second to EE. For EE to fully understand some of Koji's EE feats you need to read V0 of the LN as the feats are more impressive in that context so I would recommend doing that. The main EE feat from V0 is Koji engaging himself to surpass the 4th generations curriculum. He was using his own curiosity, desire to learn, and his drive to see how far he could go to push himself beyond ordinary human limits. We see this as Suzukake, the creator of the WR curriculum, directly confirmed that the level 6 curriculum is the human limit for development, and this was further confirmed with the level 6 curriculum having a 100% dropout rate. The beta curriculum is massively above that human limit and Koji was able to not just survive it but surpass it by engaging himself to do so. To consider another EE feat from outside V0 we can look at his false persona from Y1V1 and Y1V2. This is EE because Koji also created false memories to associate with this persona and recalling these memories triggered emotional responses. We know that Koji understands that the "memories" his persona recalls are fake and never happened, and we also know that he wouldn't trigger a visceral reaction normally to such memories, so the difference is that he was fully engaged with his false persona. On an emotional level those memories are real and thus created real emotional reactions. To ability to fabricate such reactions intentionally is quite literally inhuman levels of emotional control.
