Creating awareness and sensitizing is appreciated. Closure of shops and restaurants for residents of Kohima is fine but we have to think for tourists and travellers also. We need to consider for emergency needs. In one way we can also provide a safer and more pleasant shopping experience by distributing shopping over seven days which can even reduce congestions. The elected Councillors should carefully consider the matter concerning the closure of shops on sundays, taking into account that aligns with best interests of the community as a whole.

What about house construction labours pursuing their works on Sundays and Naga owners have no any restrictions?

Few shops are allowed to open even on Sunday by ads.order.. But these things shouldn't be allowed either by admini. order or kmc directives. Nagaland state being a Christian state , where everyone are expected to attain church devotional services. No talked on the shops and restaurants opening on Sunday and violators be strictly deal. 😊
