Ayreon - Beneath The Waves (01011001) 2008 

I don't understand why Ayreon hasn't become more popular. with almost 80 amazing singer contributions over the course of 9 albums you'd think more people would catch on. but at the same time I'm thankful because it keeps Ayreon pure.

Of all Ayreon songs, this is the one I always return to and can safely say is my favorite. It's pretty simple, but the lyrics, vocals and melodies are emotional and impactful.

After all this years and still i don´t know how Arjen imagines and writes this jewels called Ayreon songs.The great composer of the late 20th and 21st Century without any doubt.

This song's "outro" is perhaps the coolest-sounding thing on this album (and that's saying something).

Found this just now through a recommendation. This is awesome and you are really talented. You remind me of Celldweller but for a different genre. Amazing.

I'm gonna be honest. I'm not the "big" fan of Ayreon. But this is a fucking masterpiece! Seriously, this song is unique. Wish they produced more songs like this one

Once a year I reaturn and give myself to this masterpeace. It makes me feel so much different emotions and touch my heart

Popular are forgotten, because old templates are replaced by newer popular. But when someone do arts, ie explores beyond the template, he builds a legacy and people will learn about it for centuries. Investment that exceeds one life and benefits society more than consumer goods.

It's curious how the Forevers lost all emotions except for the bad ones. They still seem to feel regret, fear, agony but not love or joy.
