Don’t worry about it Chon, it’s Thai and Southeast asian culture! Let them say and do what they want and do you think is correct to represent Thai culture. Some people are just good at saying something without a clue of what they’re saying..best travels!

Chon there are many content creators on YT with focus on Thailand...but your channel is all around one of the best...not because you cater to tourists or Westerners but your tours and tips are concise and explains it as if you know what the viewers might want to ask. Your love for your country clearly shows in every video. Thailand should promote you to be the official Ambassador of Tourism....Thanks for another excellent post. 🙏

I've just spent a day in Ayutthaya following your tips and it was perfect!! I was traveling with a friend and he was astonished that I knew there was a little ferry just in front of the station! The big difference is that we used a tuk-tuk to visit the temples. They were further appart from what I anticipated and It was bit too hot to bike. Allow me to ad my tip, go grab a beer on the terrace of "the old place", 2 minutes walk from the pier of the ferry. Thanks for help during my stay in Thailand, it was a must.

Hi Chon, we took the trip as suggested by you 😊. It was such a wonderful experience, THB20 train ride, short boat ride, bicycle around the landmarks and lastly tuk-tuk to the last temple(too tired to cycle). It was so much fun for my kids. The weather was extremely hot, so we only managed to cycle to 2 temples. But it was all worth it. Upon coming back to Bangkok, we ended the day @JoddFairDanNeramit. What a wonderful and fulfilling trip. Thank you Chon for the wonderful arrangements. 😊👍

Let me start with a huge thank you! With so many misinformation and scams in this country your honest guidelines have been extremely helpful. Adding some info for new travelers: There are different categories, the 20thb is 3td class and can be somewhat uncomfortable but it is 1 hr 30 min trip. 2nd class 60 and first 267. Trains do not depart every hour nor on time. Passport is NOT required to purchase this ticket. Bolt to temples cost 50% less than tuk tuk fares from the station if you are not interested in the bike

Hello, Chon! Thank you for this video! I enjoyed my solo trip to Ayutthaya thanks to this guide. I only watched it the night before and went to Ayutthaya the next morning. My trip had been very convenient because of this and I did not waste any second looking for something. I followed every step you mentioned here. Except I did not go to the floating market and elephant riding. I went to Wat Phra Ngam though and it was worth the trip though I got chased by dogs 3 times on different occasions 😂 Thank you again! I appreciate you! One day doesn’t seem to be enough to enjoy Ayutthaya fully! I will surely come back!

@wilsonliaw679 - I was there last April! If you love historical sites, the ruins of Ayutthaya are well worth it. Not only are there ruins within the ancient sites but also, all around the modern city. You'd see part of a ruin next to a 7-11 store! The city has done a great job preserving the ruins all over the city.

Hi Chon. There may be some viewers, especially from the West, who may object to elephant riding. This is because elephants don't naturally allow humans to ride on their backs. Elephants are repeatedly tortured to break their spirits so they would submit to humans riding on top of them. Most people would rather see elephants from ground level than on top. Hopefully, elephant riding will be banned in Thailand.
