I turned 50!! Holy crap! As a surprise my wife gave me the funds to make a long awaited and highly desired Road Trip. I called up my good friend Doug aka pointers_upland_life begging for him to get the time off cause we had Bucket list stuff to do in Montana and Idaho. As luck would have it he got the time off and we hit the road in search of Sharp-tail Grouse and Hungarian Partridge on the prairies of Montana. I have been fortunate enough to have made some great friends on my journey in the uplands and we were able to connect with Zane Moody @outlawupland_ and Eric Forrester @ghostpointwirehairs while on the Montana leg of our journey and they were able to show us the ropes in new country. The dogs did great considering the new terrain and birds we were after. Join Doug and I on our first leg of this Epic road trip while we learn and explore Montana!
