i was expecting models walking the runway while azealia is performing. hopefully the audience were actually cheering for her and it got muted for this professional recording. she totally killed this! fierce queen.

I fucking love Azealia, but Fashion Show performances are not for her because as you see, the audience does not even engage...I mean she can perform but the audience pisses me off, seem like they dont care :/
Franklin Alberto they never pay attention to the artist, no matter who it is. it's a fashion show. they're not there for the artists, they are there for the fashion.
I don't know if the audience is quiet or if her vocals are just isolated. They could've edited the crowd's audio to a lower volume so we could hear the actual performance more clearly, because I can hear a little bit of cheering in the background. Either way she did the damn thing!

The rapper has to perform in a louder pitch live ? Otherwise it's hard to distinguish the live vocals of the song with the backtrack vocals, most rappers if not all perform live with backtrack vocals as well as the beat. This is probably done for better sound quality, rhythm timing and vocal enhancement and it just sounds better.
