It literally makes me so happy to see all the old fans and NEW fans supporting AB. She's a genius and regardless of her previous shortcomings (I believe she's matured a lot since then), I believe she should be appreciated for her brilliance and creativity she puts into her music. I can't be completely sure but the doll looks like it's a Yemaya Eggun doll. Sometimes she's referred to as Mama Francisca. My guess is that she's carrying her for stability and strength. It might also be an Afro-Carribean nod to her seapunk aesthetic as the goddess Yemaya is often times depicted as a mermaid. To be clear, if I am correct, the doll is not the orisha Yemaya but it represents an Eggun (a spirit guide or ancestor) that was crowned Yemaya in life. The distinction is subtle but important. More can be said but I'll leave it at that. I'm just speculating but I'm pretty sure this is what is going on here. I could be wrong. She might have her for entirely different reasons.
She is a genius, they say we've come a long way in terms of equality but observe Azelia who arguably is just as outspoken/confident/talented/artistic as Kanye yet one is revered and the other ostracised.
