For those who still struggle : when they say you should mash R you should really mash R like if you tried to beat a DPS key spam record (considering you did the E Q correctly though), worked for me and can get it super consistent
The pointers that I have learned from this video are the following: 1. If you already have a grasp on how to do the Revenant Shuffle, one good point to know is that your target must ideally get clipped by the far side of Azir's R and not the whole barrage of soldiers slamming against the target. 2. If Azir fails to R but performed a proper shuffle towards your cursor, it means you failed to spam R at the right time. The right time to spam R is the exact moment Azir changes directions from E to Q. 3. If Azir dashes with E, hits the enemy with R, but didn't shuffle towards where the enemy has landed, then you failed to time your Q properly. If you have other questions just drop them down. And I'll help you based on what I learned so far. Just keep on trying, I landed a good 4/10 today and it felt really nice to learn a new skill with this champ.
Thanks for tips! I've always wanted to main Azir and now that I've watched your helpful and inspiring video, I have the confidence in my gaming ability to finally do so. Could not thank enough.
if you can't do it consistently, try first stepping back, e and then q combo like how he does in the video without the ult. Once you've done that 5 times in a row, just spam r in between. For me, it works consistently
I've been trying to replicate this on practice tool for 4 and a half hours and my r ALWAYS has a delay after redirecting e with q, like azir has a skill resit timer after using q. This causes r to miss and i can't understand why it's like this for me and not everyone else. I promise you it's not because i press r too late. I should have done it at least once even by if accident if it were possible.
But let's say it's base defence time, and you can't place a soldier since the enemy is kissing up against your big veiny throbbing tower until their minions arrive, is it still possible to shuffle them into the allied tower?. I guess i could place soldier behind allied wall, flash to ult enemy spam "Cleanse" and E back inside base.. hmm
99% of the time my R isn't in range, feels so weird, I tested it in practice tool and combo looks the same if I hit it or not, but half of the time it just isn't hitting with soldier next to target for some reason
You might be getting a late R instead of a mid dash one. After succesfully doing Q away from the enemy, instantly mash R the moment you press Q, they shoild be pressed almost simultaniously.
Because the game's coding is wack. Just keep doing it over and over and try spotting what youre doing different between successful and unsuccessful attempts.
@@NiadHGR Whenever I try to do it, the ulti just casts itself once the dash is over, I dont have the timing on when to click R, do you have any tips on when exactly I have to click R and do I have to click R and Q at the same time?
@@Alex-kq4tn I dont time the R, i mash it since it's too inconsistant othetwise. I do W, tiny reposition, E, Q, R. As you can see in the video, Azir flies towards the Soldier with E, which Q's away. Time your Q so that Azir doesnt change direction mid-flight too fast, but not too slow to not make the Revenant Shuffle fail. Its a tough timing, but try learning the timing of a super late W E Q. However, instead of doing Q as late as possible, do it a little bit earlier so Azir still arrived at the Soldier's original location before following said Soldier. THAT window of Azir changing directions is when you should be mashing R.
@@NiadHGR Wow the cue of Azir changing directions should be the time you should be spamming R helped a lot bro. I can now land a decent 4/10 attempts on the revenant. Great stuff bro

The main weakness of the classic Shurima shuffle is that if somehow someone escapes the shuffle you are left in a midst of enemies with no way to escape, with this you can actually get yourself and your enemies to a safe place, and a place where you already have your sodleirs set up. The problem with this is that enemies have to be stupid enough to actually walk besides or even closer to you than your soldier is placed, which almost never happens. and the close range one really is not that much more usefull than the classic one.
