As the world turns upside down, I can still count on the Wander Women to provide me with a sane, sensible Thru-hike! My hiking respect grows with every adventure!
I cannot tell you what joy it brought me this morning to see you back on the trail with Mary Poppins. Love the fact that you just pushed on and made things happen. Enjoy the vida pura!!!💚🤍
Thanks to Christie for the beautiful photography and all of the extra effort it takes. Thanks to Annette for letting us follow her up and down the trails of all of your thru hikes. Thanks to Mary Poppins for her support and most of all for being the bad ass woman that wears shorts in the snow.
Back on the trail again... . I am back on my treadmill - walking along with you. So happy to be able to have you out there showing me the trails. Thank you. Happy Trails.
It's Saturday morning and I'm Happy. This was just a wonderful video. Superb editing instincts. I've seen endless videos of the same trail and you captured it so beautifully. The trek followed by wonderful in camp fodder. just great stuff. Thank you
I have been rving around Arizona, New Mexico and Texas this winter. Everywhere we went they told us it was the coldest winter in 20 years. I believe it! I have been without internet more than with and so just now finally able to catch up on my Wander Women on the AZT. When those familiar faces appear and that music cues I am transfixed. So happy to see you back on the trail.
Yay! Love that you've started your next thru hike! Especially the AZT now that you finished the Triple Crown. The AZT would be my next pick too. So glad Mary Poppins is with you on this segment, I follow all her adventures on her blog.
So excited to see this trail thru your lens! I'm starting my first section hike on the PCT next month! I always appreciate your encouraging words at the end of your videos. I'm going to find my wild! 🌻💛
This adventure is absolutely thrilling. It fills me with awe and joy watching the three of you negotiate such challenging trail conditions. Huge respect to all! Thanks so much for bringing us along!!
Welcome to AZ! Love your positive attitude and your willingness to take on hard challenges-you inspire the rest of us to get out there! The weather here in south-central AZ looks great for the next week…wishing you safe and happy days on the AZT. 😎
Fare well, Wander Women! You are Launched 🤩 I had to grab a sweater to watch this one 🥶 Journey safely, enjoy your marvelous sojourn in the Southwest ☮️✌🏼
I am so excited to see you hiking again and to follow along with you on the Arizona trail! I always appreciate your realness and positivity. You inspire me, and continue to be my favorite RU-vid! Thank you for sharing with all of us in RU-vid land.
I like you music from the PCT, It was more upbeat and friendly hiking music. Good luck girls I love to watch you hike it inspires me. Hiking in the snow is rough. I watched Dan Becker and he was at the north rim of the grand canyon. He had to be evacuated out, be careful.
It will take more than a few feet of snow to stop the Wonder Women. What a start to another great adventure. Good to see MP also. It was fortunate the police happen to see you stop, who knows what was going on there. Glad you're safe. Be safe.
Neither rain, nor sleet, nor darkness of night...nothing, but NOTHING stops your guys. All that snow, but onward you go! Great hike on the AZ trail, beautiful. Thanks for taking us along. Really enjoying it.
Thanks a lot for sharing your adventure! I am new to your channel, I am also following Splash, she started close to Oracle and up North, seems it's snow free for her there... Big hello from Norway, and Happy Trails 👍😀
Hey Ladies, we met you briefly in AZ at the Catalina Mountain campsite, we lived in Mesa AZ, we moved back East to be near our families last week, we got tired around Alburguerque NM, off 40E and we didn't get a a "friendly warning" we stayed at a Motel 6, that was so gross, there was even blood on the mattress. We hardly slept because we were worried about our truck camper and car getting broken into. The next day we drove out and saw a nicer area way ahead. I feel safer in the wild than in a hotel off 1-40 in NM. We got a kick out of your experience there because we just experienced it up close and personal. (missing AZ already) We will be back. Love watching your videos.
I was star-struck today when I ran into you lovely women on the streets of Patagonia. Unbelievable! As I said, my brother is a huge fan, and he turned me on to following your trips on the CDT and your (harrowing) bicycle tour in Montana. Sorry I wasn't able to produce a Trogon for you today, but I know you will see many cool birds along the way. Happy Trails, Beth from Montana
How exciting! What a delightful video to wake up to! What an exciting time getting past that mountain! How is this trail? Is it easy to follow? Are there any other hikers? What's surprising? I can't wait for the rest of this year's adventures, have a wonderful time!
Haha, only the Wander Women could start a desert hike with crazy amounts of snow! Very much looking forward to following your latest adventure! As far as your crazy hotel stop, kudos to the officer for giving you a heads up. I am a paramedic in rural county in Indiana. We have one notorious hotel that is just off the I80/90 toll road. For whatever reason, it has ended up as a meet-up place for drug use and other nefarious activity. When we are called there, which is frequent, there is an automatic police response as well for our safety. To put this in perspective, over half of our county population is Amish. If there is a traffic back-up, it's usually the result of following a buggy. But for whatever reason, this hotel is a hotspot for all sorts of degradation. I frequently travel, hike and backpack alone. I have a policy that I never camp within 2 miles of a trailhead and never stop at a hotel just off of an interstate unless it is thoroughly vetted through reviews and is at least a 3-star. Just my 2 cents of advice from someone who has unfortunately seen the darker side of society. Thanks for your continued upbeat attitude and for showing us another beautiful trail! 🙂
That trail looks fun! Was camping in Grayson Highlands this week and when I unzipped my rain fly in the morning there was a pony butt! Quit a view. 🐎 Wouldn't have it any other way! Happy Trails! 🌈⛄🏕
Thank for a great video. I start on the 16th so it gives me a little bit of trail condition before I go but I expect it to melt a lot more. Or at least a little bit. Be safe. Have fun hike on!
It looks like a winter hike thru the desert is much nicer than thru the heat of summer! All that snow they've got is just mind blowing! Be safe, have fun 😊
When you hike with someone a lot more fit, it is hard to keep up. Will you be hiking with Lynn again? I was impressed how you did the whole AT just taking it in stride.
Welcome to our backyard. We m glad the trail conditions have to improved since the week before. The Sheriff Department had to take a hiker off Miller Peak that had lost his shoe in the snow. I love mountain biking down from Montezuma’s Pass to Patagonia. Patagonia is a great small town. You’ll love Temporel Gulch and Mt Ritson
Now I know you all Westerners are crazy ! Only kidding...Rugged respect Ladies !!! Go easy, remember you have great Sensible goals.Thank you ever so much for sharing.Your definitely the best ! Beautiful video.... Thanks
So awesome to see you back on the trails again and especially in Arizona, a big welcome to you!! Hopefully you will make a stop in Oracle....great coffee shop here!
I enjoy your adventures so much but must admit I really love it when you’re doing long hikes the most. My brother lives in Scottsdale and was surprised by the cold snowy weather Arizona has gotten this year
