Love this song! And what a genius to have written such an intense chord sequence and melody, with such touching, poignant lyrics. This said, I'd like to add: he looks as if he didn't even have to shave, back then.
Bought the NME with the C81 cassette attached. Loved this one, first time I'd hear/heard of AC. Still have that cassette, remained in Texas all these 40 years, a great compilation!
It's a fairly poor audio track (the reocrding not the performance), but worth it for Roddy's hair - and the fact that it's a wonderful song... Oh to be young again!
