Use the Comet on Carriers that have skills that active on EVERY airstrike. (5th Carrier Division, Souryuu, Unicorn, Centaur, Long Island Retro, Hoshou, Ect.)
And also the Messerschmitt Me-155A if you want to lose two bombs in exchange for a quicker launch. (It's probably useful on Taihou because of her proc skill & slow reload)

This is a terrible idea. The difference in reload time is too small to make any difference until like 5 airstrikes, which no fight should ever get to. The only time to consider Comet is for timing purposes.
2 Ryusei + Helldiver is an absolute killer in PVP. Comined with Nagato and Amagi , Shinano is constantly MVP. The 2 Reyusei + 1 from her skill can actually hit all 3 backliners at the same time - its brutal.
Amazing Video as always! If I may add: using catapult + homing beacon is generally preferred over double catapult because Shinano's load time is slower than most carriers at around 24-25 seconds (normal carriers fire their airstrikes every 19-20 seconds) although an extra 4-5 seconds might not be much, it does add up and can be detrimental to her dps in longer battles. For example: if you're up against a boss fleet and that battle lasts around 1 minute, then normal carriers would be able to fire a total of 3 airstrikes within set time frame (at around 20, 40, and 60 seconds) for shinano however, without the homing beacon will only be to fire 2 airstrikes within the same time frame (at around 24, 48, and 72 seconds) and thus reducing her dps by nearly 1/3. Her 3rd airstrike fires 12 seconds slower than other carriers which is why you put the homing beacon on her. The homing beacon reduces her airstrike time to 20 seconds making her able to fire 3 times in 1 minute. Do keep in mind that even with -40 aviation stat, her dps is still higher than an enterprise with a hypothetical 100% proc chance on lucky E.
Missing her stunning dress skin showcase!! Apart from that, great as always. I love using her for the +10 surprise element after using her air strike and being able to see whats happening again on the screen.
Comet generally are for Shouhou, a healer carrier to deliver fast bomber launch and triggering her frontline healing skills while doing some damages. Shouhou can choose either this of the Fairy Fulmar, a "bomber" armed with 2 puny 100lbs bomb as she cannot carry any fighters in her loadout.
I use the Comet because it's gold and that's all I know. Also, I keep getting tons of lab blueprints of the Comet for some reason, so I have 7 Comets. 8 in the near future.
Double torpedo Aircraft on Shinano with either Formidable freeze or Centaur with 818sqn Swordfish is a recipe for one hell of a boss killer, especially with a Helena debuff or a Nagato buff on top of it. Plan to use this method for 13-4 boss
I'd just like to add: If ever you plan to use Shinano in PvP, my personal preference is to use her along with either Nagato and Hiryuu. For the torp bombers put 818 Swordfishes in there to reduce the enemy's speed because in PvP speed is really good. For the dive bombers take your standard Helldivers. For Hiryuu's fighter slot, take the Seahornet. If you don't have it, take the golden corsair. For Shinano's first slot, take either a ryuusei or another helldiver. Why? cuz in PvP, You need surface dps and plane HP is multiplied by 4 so you don't really need to worry much about enemy carriers killing your planes (unless the enemy team has an AA build but who would do that lol.)

I'd been farming the Event SP stage for the past few days for the baguette gun. It took me over 220 runs (over 660 battles) of just the first three humanoid ships (the smaller fleets don't drop the BP) to get the 15 blueprints. I was thinking of going for another one, but all my time was being eaten up, and my sanity was gone. So I stopped. Also I wanted oil to use on stages that would actually give me points for the shop because you can't sortie at the SP map for the rest of the day after you beat it.
@@tkpariss5189 14/15 flew by, then the last one took like 70 battles. So much oil just burnt up. But, hey, I got that much more EXP towards Azuma, so not the worst thing ever.
Gold Comet (Suisei): light plane, fast take off. Best used if you want to speed up CV/L air trigerred skills while not sacrificing bombing DMG completely (i.e Shouhou). You can obtain in it JP boxes, or in 12-3
Seems like u might miss this comment seeing as i am late to the upload, however, just wanted to say that you make some great vids and you have a really nice speaking voice. Your vids just motivate me to play AL even more (not hard, warspoot is the only motivation i need). Keep it up brother and if you wanted an idea for a new vid id say maybe doing something that showcases and explains the many types of fleet synergies and how certain ships skills can work in unison, or something along those lines.

I think the comet is for carriers that have skill procs. I suppose if you use comets on healing CVLs, then you would get faster heals which might result in an additional heal before the end of some battles. Of course, you are probably sacrificing about half the DPM for the slightly more/faster skill procs.

Call me bias, but I fucking hate the fact that an Support Carrier, even Yamato class, that sunk on it's first proper voyage, is now the best carrier in the game, and the first UR gacha.
my level of sadness on not getting Shinano is now even higher than before... ah well, i've cleaned up on Universe in Unison and gotten everything but Albacore (so... everything that mattered??) I'm sure I'll get another crack at Shinano some day!

I was using a gold seafang fighter, gold comet dive-bomber, and a gold barracuda torpedo-bomber as well as a gold catapult and a purple catapult, I’ve changed this to (still using) a gold seafang fighter, but a purple helldiver dive-bomber, and (still using) a gold barracuda torpedo-bomber, a gold catapult and a purple aviation fuel tank as per your advice and what a difference she quite literally finishes every battle in the first minute (this is at lvl7-9 at ten she struggles a little but still gets it done) this is because I’m at lvl71 an have just started this September playing . I’ve also paired her up with my best HMS Rodney(BB-battleship), HMS Unicorn(for the repair and anti-sub buff as well double aviation attack) would’ve love to pair her up with either HMS QE(Queen Elisabeth) or HMS Warspite but both of these aren’t near her lvl (Shino’s lvl107 vs QE & Warspite lvl68&70) also I’ve paired with vanguard ships Z23(lvl101), HMS Amazon-refit(lvl112), and IJN Atako(lvl100) (Atako I’m keeping in formation just for the torpedoes and good gun damage but would like to use another heavy or light cruiser, she seems to take way too much damage in any engagement) . Your videos have helped me close the gap between my fleet and the rest thanks to you and Gerdo1 and a lot of other RU-vidrs for the great advice but really YOU (Ander) and Gerdo1 have given me really great strategy guides and wonderful advice on how to play this game !
As a player who got Shinano on day 1 of the event and Max limit broke lvl 120 oathed her at the end of the event (exactly 2 weeks) i can safely say that his gear recommendations are good. However, a few things to keep in mind, for the any plane slot I would recommend TBM avenger or the barracuda over any other planes because torp bombers deal high single target dmg which you will need at later chapters (12+). The reason why helldiver isn't used is because shinano already has high AoE dmg to begin with from her skills. Also, for the torp bomber slot, use the AichiB7A Ryuusei or nakajima tenzan if you don't have the Ryuusei. This is because Shinano's 1st skill also fires an AichiB7A Ryuusei which can stack and deal NASTY dmg. Don't use Ryuusei on 1st slot tho as 3 ryuuseis are overkill most of the time. Finally for aux gear, Gold steam catapult and Homing beacon are my recommendations. Homing beacon's -4% reload time might seem small, but do remember that Shinano's downside is her very long airstrike load times. (24 seconds compared to a normal carrier's 19-20 seconds) also, Don't worry about the 40 Aviation stat loss, even without it Shinano will likely still oneshot most things within the 1st airstrike. @@samaguirre3283 for her pvp gear if you decide to use her in pvp it would be: Swordfish (818), Helldiver, Ryuusei, Catapult, homing beacon. If you're running an amagi, then replace the catapult with evasion gear. These are the gear load outs for pvp shinano. I'm not going to explain exactly why you should be using them right now since you're only around lvl 70+ and your pvp fleet is most likely not ready yet and explaining the current pvp meta would take a while, but believe me it works. hey should probably just ask bluestacks but what settings do you use for azur lane? I have a great computer but the quality is a lot worse especially lag. What settings do you have to make it run well?
The #1 thing you have to do for BlueStacks is turning on "Hardware Virtualization", or whatever it's called. It drastically increases your performance since it allows your computer use dedicate more cores to BlueStacks.

I've got a question, not to Shinano but towards the PR 1 Overhaul. More specifically the Combat Data Packs. The wiki sates "This reward can be completed twice. Giving full rewards both times" even adding in the next sentence that you can get up to 800 Combat Data Packs, which would mean 8 Mio exp for your PR 1 ships, pretty much giving you 2 and 2/3 ships worth of exp. Now my question in, how do I claim these rewards a second time? Currently I'm at 340 Packs because I'm too lazy to clear 8-4, 9-4 and 10-4 (just leveling a lot of ships at 7-2 right now)
I switched over to Bluestacks for Azur Lane thanks to you, but the emulator resets all my character loadouts every time I open it up. Is there a fix to this issue?
Currently, there is no fix. I think it's an Azur Lane problem rather than a BlueStacks problem, since whenever I log into my account with a different device, the loadouts reset. It seems the game saves loadouts and also things such as secretary positioning on the device rather than the account itself.
Sakura Empire had to get at least one UR Carrier because eventually the Eagle Union will get the three Midways (Midway, Coral Sea and Franklin D Roosevelt) which absolutely HAVE to be UR and will likely be far better than Shinano (although Sakura Empire may get a DR carrier in the G-15 upgraded Taihou design). Eventually Eagle Union will be the nation with the most UR ships (Iowas, Alaskas and Midways to start) and Shinano being UR will be needed to help the other main faction say somewhat relevant in a sea of incredibly powerful Eagle UR's. (these are just my vague thoughts btw)

@Sazabi4prez Friedrich is based off the H-39 design if I’m not mistaken, that leaves H-41 and H-44 fair game to be added in the VERY VERY LONG term, however that makes Bismarck and Tirpitz kinda useless unless they get retrofits. I can’t see people being happy that historically significant ships will be phased out fully by OP paper designs. (RIP Ironblood CV either way tho) But Eagle and Sakura will eventually come out rightfully on top because of how powerful they were in history compared to for example the rather weak Krigsmarine. That’s just a fact for better or for worse.
@@marksayosmejia7251 I agree that the current game is much more Sakura leaning, but I would say that's mostly due to Eagle Union lacking a fleet buffer like Nagato, eventually they'll get either Iowa, Missouri or one of the planned Montana class bbs providing a fleet buff, making them into the top nation in game. What I'm trying to say is, while the game may be kinda Sakura biased right now that will change as the most powerful ships of Eagle Union get added. The game will have factions at a similar power-level to their historical counterparts, for USN that means a lot of very powerful ships with a similar trend for IJN. HMS will likely be third with KMS and MN having a close contest for forth and fifth.
