Hehe, this guy Abel Wang really loves DevOps and his expression of happiness for DevOps is funny :) Nice overview what you can do with Azure Pipelines! Free for Open Source!
Hehehe! You can’t help but to LOVE Abel, his presentation skills and love for Azure DevOps is awesome. Am glad to be an Azure DevOps Expert. Pls release more videos.
For those that got confused at the point where he was adding the Web App Service Deploy and don't know what to enter, go to azure.com and get your free or paid subscription and create your services. It will automatically be available for you to select.
Azure DevOps is a fantastic tool! All in one, love it since the first day I start using it! Great tutorials from Abel, Donovan Brown, Edward Thomson and so many... good job everyone! I'm working on a tool, possibly will become open source, and put it in the Marketplace.
Thanks for the videos. They help. Azure DevOps is pretty impressive. However for someone learning it is not intuitive at all. I never could get the entire ci/cd to work until I went to Azure portal and utilized the deployment feature. Now it works but what it created I would have never figures out. Still can't find best resources to understand it. Once I understand it all then I'm sure it will be a great new toy for me.
I'm trying to research migration from TFS2015 and to be honest, I'm a little overwhelmed here. Looking for resources on how to safely migrate given that we don't want to lose any precious source/builds/workitem customizations/release definitions/etc. Is this something that Microsoft support can help with or are there any training courses relevant to this?
I am working with DevOps pipelines. Octopus is much better but Azure is much cheaper. Azure DevOps misses many features but I believe in the future they are going to implement them.
