I got Ankimo, it is the best gear in the game. Too bad I missed the destroyer-con destroyer. Her gacha was abysmal and I don't want to destroy my cubes just to get her. The event was fun, but the ships aren't my cup of tea.
Well, if you haven't got Meowifficers, it still got it use. But otherwise..... Well. But perhaps more ASR added into it? This would require a bit of testing.
i mean...if you use U-47 Solo, yes...you get lv 5ASR without the gear, but otherwise? Granted lv 5 from 4 is only +2 spaces which is almost always useless anyway...

I was going to write down the gear you recommended so I could check my inventory and equip stuff later. But... You didn’t list the names of most of the recommended gear. So I guess I can’t do that. There’s no way I’m going to remember all this just based on the thumbnail pictures. Your last guide had the NAMES of all the equipment - which made it a better guide.
Ikr, I actually hoping he put some names, like- those planes man, I can't remember from the image alone... Not to mention maybe we dont have the gold rarity one but the purple one might suffice as a filler, if only we know the name of that gear...

One thing I would also mention is that the Twin 40mm Bofors STAAG Mk II add +10 Acc/Hit to the ships stats, which makes the AA gun a nice choice for BBs.
Maybe you should make like a guide so we can see the best options for picking gear for our ships ourselves, which could also come more handy in the future when stats and gear characteristics have been updated.

single 15cm skc only for Neptune? How about Southampton classes ships (Sheffield, etc) which their barrages shoots forward shotgun-like shots? This is questionnable

Personally, I never use the Twin 127mm on BB Auxiliary because HE shells don't travel far enough and a lot of time the Suicide Boats still hit the backline. I prefer the Twin 128 or the Twin 134 because they're AP rounds and they work much better on BBs imo.
Rule of thumb for DD gun I think Bad Main Gun, Good barrage (or super good barrage like Eldridge)- 76mm Bad Main Gun, Bad barrage - 100mm (ie most IJN DDs) Good Main Gun, Bad or average barrage - 138.6mm, twin 127mm Mk38, twin 120mm MkXII Good Main Gun, Good barrage - Single 127mm Mk30

Not sure about low-cost fleets anymore since it's still the usual and with PR, nowadays you'd want to limit break the ships other than the usual ones used in low cost fleets. But for the others you mentioned, yeah I agree.
I am surprised you didn't mention the Repair Tools for Akashi, same HP bonus as Repair Toolkit, but the Toolkit heals her 45 HP in 15 seconds whereas the Tools can heal her more depending on Akashi's HP, with my Akashi the Tools will heal 56 HP over 15 seconds. The two aux items have different skills so you can use one of each.
Small nitpicky correction: Repair ships get AA mount+1, so they actually have 4 AA guns (at 100% efficiency) - which makes them get the highest AA damage boost in the game per AA radar mounted

no, turning ships into heavy armor isn't really a good thing actually..heavy armor resists shells, but take extra from torp/aircraft. And you know ch12-13 are all aircrafts..
damn you always choose the best waifu to each part of the video, but that Azuma on the start was just too much cuteness to my weeb heart... btw what would you use on Georgia? is a High AA and good acc BB... i was thinking on double white shell to keep up the base stats since pr ships don't have that much of luck, so critical hits may be hard to get...
Super helpful. Was trashing a bunch of gear but didn't know the differences between some of the BB guns. I was also Currently running Twin 127 on my 3 IJN DDs but had 3 Twin 100 so I swapped over. Now gotta go farm for more plates
Is it alright to still use Triple 406 on BB/BC with barrages like Amagi or Monarch? Or is that not ideal? Also, was it alright to use Little Beaver Squadron Tag in PVE? Seems to me the improved Hydraulic Steering are almost interchangeable with each other, when it comes to stats at least
Can confirm, it would still work, but slower. Those ships prefers Double guns for faster firing, and barrage skill trigger; some ships relies on their skills more than their own armaments.
What's the best way to manage gear? Equip every ship with whatever you have, prioritising the best ships or only keeping the best gear and equip what you need when you go in to battle?
Great video as always 3c! About enhancing Gears, I always wonder, how are people able to maximize so many Aux Gears? I am always suffering obtaining/having Aux Gear Plates. I do farm W12 or D3 during Events, and I alternate and enhance other type of Gear (like Guns/Torpedo/AA), am I missing something? I always feel like I don't have enough Aux Plates.
if you farm regularly, it would take about 1-1.5 years to farm enough aux plates to the point where you have extras, so its probably just a time issue.
Still not entirely sure what to throw on my Main Fleet Iron Blood ships (trying to get FDG), I'm running Bismarck (flagship) with Tirpitz and Zeppelin (non-loli). Noticed Tirp is running my purple triple 406mm mk6 guns. Should I switch them to the triple 381s or something else?
Just3c what do u think is BiS for London? I have ber with the research AP gun, french DD gold as a secondary but I don't know what to give her as aux atm I'm running PR rudder+badge, but isnt that too much evasion? should I run a gold SG Radar instead of the badge?
How does crafting gear in this game work? I can't seem to find what materials I need to build a, let's say, SR Main Gun. Logically I would say that I would need some copies of the same type of Main Guns of one rarity level lower (in that case Elite), but that doesn't seem to be the case. For example, I'm currently able to build an Elite Fighter, because I have 16 out of the 10 needed materials, but I certainly don't have 16 blue fighters in my depot.
Do the Hiei skill is affected by armor type ? If so, then VH Armor Plate might be usefull when you want to farm for backline but also with a weak/cheap frontline (ship other than phoenix - for affinity etc) or vice versa

I would like to ask, what is ASR? what does it do? does it mean I can detect submarines without equipping the sonar? or does it just increase my detection range? and what is ASW stat? does it increase my damage to submarines? Lastly, about reaching the max ASR range with 2 meowfficers how does ASR meowfficers help? because I am doing the event right now and what to learn on how to defeat submarines.
ASR is a stat on subs, it decides their "range". 2 of the Meowficers got skills that give +1 each, one Elite, one SR. ASW is damage done to submerged subs. It was 100% useless in the event since subs simply surfaced fast.
And here I kept using bofors and pom pom AA guns (they're none of the chosen ones)...also, it's hard to pick which plane to cull from the storage (hard to notice which performs better)
