It is a really nice song ^^ At University Koshi studied to become a Maths teacher, so he is very intelligent & puts a lot of thought when writing the lyrics to the B'z songs. Tak has been a professional guitar player for 40 years & he works so well with Koshi creating the music to go with Koshi's lyrics. You already know that Shimura Ken is the best English teacher and sword master.😀 Koshi intended to become the school teacher. He acquired a teaching certificate. However, it was said, "cut yore long hair " from the boss, and he said "No", and he gave it up. He came across Taka which was looking for a vocalist to make a band afterwards.
I've been a big fan of B'z for a long time. Inaba Koshi has an incredible voice and Matsumoto Tak has a very nice full tone on guitar. To play with these two, one has to be a very good musician. I was gladly surprised that you appreciated the sound quality of the instruments played by musician who were accompanying B'z. Matsumoto Tak also made a collaboration with the (unfortunately passed away at 40) singer from Zard "Sakai Izumi". Sakai Izumi is able to make smooth sounding high notes when using her head voice (like the high note in "iru"), but with her middle voice, it would sound squeaky. Nothing wrong with her beautiful voice. I wish she was always using her head voice for high notes. Unfortunately she was using her middle voice high notes and not everyone has an incredible vocal range. But it's clear that she has a beautiful voice. Inaba Koshi very high notes with a lot of power. Gackt is a super famous singer in Japan and he can sing very low notes as very high notes. Gackt uses a very special type of vibrato in his singing. A very good example that shows Gackt singing with a special vibrato as well as very notes is known in English as Returner.
