I got to see him perform in the dining room where my mother was working. Real fancy place. I was 11 or 12yrs old. He played Lucile. The band he was playing with consisted of, a stand up base player, piano player, and one trumpet player. I was in a trance. My mother loved him. She passed at a very young age. I will always remember I was allowed to see B.B. King and dancing in the dining room with her. Rest in Peace Momma.
Can’t agree with you more. He sang my only sunshine to my daughter in NJ. My doctor brought us tickets for the family my husband had bypass surgery and had a little trouble with arrhythmia. She told him if your heart starts fluttering just follow the beat. She’s a great doctor because it worked?
Lord, bless our family with unity, strength, and enduring love. Help us to support and uplift one another, and to always act with compassion and understanding. May Your love be the foundation of our family, and may we grow closer to You and to each other every day. Amen.
I take offense at “all races “ we are all human race. Some people are better at some things than others. I have lived in most all places in this world. One thing I have determined is that we all have similar aspirations, but we have different cultures. We are all the same with differing abilities. BB King’s ability for music was astounding. He and Lucile could make me cry. But he was of the same race as this white guy.
I loved this man. He preached the blues. He saw clean through to my soul. That's the Blues. I will miss him forever but my Lord God is jamming with him right now.
Do these figures still exist? BB is definitely a King. He carries himself as a King would. He is humble, gracious, and yet - in charge. And we all know that he was in charge. Are showman as such now just things of yesteryear?
Blues Boy King also played his whole career with a crack band behind him. Some were with him over 40 years. Night after night after night playing the same tracks in the same keys. They could play all night long without even thinking about it. It was like any other professional for them all. Just another day at the office. What a way to make a living. He was worth some 250 million in his later days. RIP BBK.
B. B. King dispensa palavras seja em que idioma for. Ele traduz a linguagem da música em Blues que tocam a alma... "as águias voam na sexta-feira..." É maravilhoso de ouvir!
