Hello my friend that sounds great.I ordered a Hipshot bender about a year ago and your bender lessons have really brought me along. Its like playing a different instrument. The history and development of the bender is also very interesting study.thanks again.
Good stuff! Could you do a video on working in and out of the D and D7 shapes? I really need help getting this shape into my playing and making it sound hip.
Just wondering ; if you go high(too high) on the neck, does the bender pull too much string for it to stay in tune? It occurs to me it all seems to take place below the 12th fret.....
Just tested with a tuner - played a D note on the third fret and took the bender all the way up to E and droned it with the open E next to it. Sounded good and tuner said it very close to perfect. Did the same thing on the 13th fret and same results so I'm not noticing anything unusual. Thanks for commenting and Keep it Bent!
@@thebenderbunkerI have an amazing Harley Benton black paisley Tele and a B bender on order. I'm fascinated by the possibilities-have been ever since I saw Albert doing 'Sweet little Lisa'. Who needs the dusty end,anyway- even Chet said there's no money up there !
@@thebenderbunker Amazing guitar ; plays and sounds as good as the 'name brands'.The sort of thing Tokai did back in the 80s,but way cheaper.Black paisly.....with a bender - yay !
