Everyone has seen pharside's and bionic man's style. at least once or twice. I hella dig pac and sifu's style for the sole purpose of originality.

LoL The reason why it looks good is beacuse he dress so decently and hes ability surpasses many people that dresses well as a dancer~! No one expect a beast is hidden within those sheep costume lol
to terminaldeity. i agree his(pacman's) performance(solo) wasnt as good as his others but I feel that the song wasn't suited to his style which is commonly more new age slower paced and change beat where as this song was more quick paced, constant beat old school poping music. as for the battle, phar and bio definitely took it. also pac's routine here seemed a little crowded in some parts.
Have any of you guys seen this guy actually dance in real life? I'll agree that he wasn't really popping on SYTYCD, but I've seen him at a couple popping comps, and he hits, and he hits hards -- therefore, he pops. You guys need to stop posing as "hardcore real underground poppers" hating on dancers just because they got mainstream exposure. He has skills, and many other poppers I know say the same thing.
Finally someone else than me knows the truth about Robert Muraine(Mr. Fantastic) LMFAO his very nickname is because he moves his body like a contortionist.Robert can't hold a beat for shit but ignorant people are always impressed because they're like "WOW LOOK AT HIS BODY,IT'S SO CRAZY!!!!" All he does is move his body in those crazy angles with no regard for the music whatsoever.The judges from SYTYCD don't know shit about popping,if they did,Phillip would have the battle they had on the show
I can see why you think Phar came soft, he didn't do that many tricks. But sometimes simplicity expresses the skill of a dancer. That last burner he did wasn't crazy but i thought it was pretty funny. Sifu tried a lot of really hard moves, but lacked cleanliness and flow and diversity of popping styles. overall it was a great battle, would be nuts to see them each pull out their best. Both seemed to have been holding back. Ive seen them do way better.
me personally, i couldnt attend one of these because iThink i would cheer or everything they do lol.. b/c iPop and tut and all that and iKnow how long it takes to get this good! so yea

So, off top... Pharside & Bionic Man killed it. Pac Man & SiFu looked awkward & out of place. Their style is completely different than Pharside & Bionic Man's. I give it up to Pac Man & SiFu as artists, but it wasn't anything special. In fact, when they do their thing they look like they're regurgitating something they learned on a how to video... LMAO ;)
Both teams tore it up but you can see a difference. The biggest thing that separated the teams was that Bionic and Pharside have higher musicality, or better use and feel of the music. Pac and Sifu are still dope and will probably be top of the food chain poppers in the not too distant future.

Well this is an old video, I've seen Pacman do a lot better. Sifu was my favorite out of all of them. As for who won it's hard to say, competition wise I would say I would give it to bionic man and pharside if I was a judge.
right... like you could find a video to do pacman's and sifu's moves... you gotta be kidding me that was a ridiculous battle on both sides man... mad respect to both sides. One of the sickest battles ive seen on youtube.
@kugashira101 Robert Muraine is good, don't lie. He doesn't have musicality but oh well, he can still pop. He's just highly overrated. Pacman kills Robert any day though.
i think bionic and pharside took it (by a good bit) but i realize that pacman's improved a whole lot bionic is always so fun to watch, i think he was my favorite here

I think Bionic and Phar took this. I loved Sifu in this battle for being wildly innovative, but him and Pacman just didn't have the polish that Bionic and Phar had. This was a team battle and Bionic and Phar worked as a team, and it was smooth. Pacman had, IMO, the worst performance out of all of them. Seemed really nervous. Crazy to see how much he's improved.
And yes they are skilled! Salah and NHJ are not overrated. To them basic foundation is nothing at all, so they create their own style. They can be an entertainer, or focus purely on basic foundation as they wish. About competitiveness....would you look up to competitive poppers like TOmmy Boy or poppers who love to pop like NHJ/Salah? PS: Salah is on beat all the time when he do his crazy stuff ;)
Its 06, but Pacman had the best round (his first) overall, but could have improved on his control in his 2nd set. Bionic did pretty good in both sets. Pharside could have been more impactful, and sifu had great 'power moves' but he was lacking a lot of music control.

ok idk if anyone else feels the same way but the guy in the maroon shirt with the white hat annoys the crap out of me in this vid lol. i assume he must be in Bionic and Pharsides crew at the time or if not he's just a really big freakin suck up
