Good Lord, how did that stage manage hold up the weight of the enormous talent that were on it! Singers, songwriters and musicians of the highest order were present! ☮️🖖🏽
Look at that room full legends and talent and they all join in, if you don’t love this you need to have your pulse checked and your marbles checked, this is pure greatness.
Such a legendary song and other legends singing along. I thought to myself how grateful even those people are that these other artists brought such great songs into the world.
@@anncoffman4448 hard to lose people like him , I’m hooked on a feeling that he’s very happy where he is now !!! ❤️thank you Ann for sharing this info ❤️
Oh yeah. We had so much great music and so many outstanding artists. I feel so blessed to have grown up in that era. To me 60-80’s was the best era of music.
Local boy makes good! He went to high school at Lamar high in Rosenberg Tx, and he used to play in all the small towns around the Houston area with the Triumphs, before he made it big, I understand he was good friends with Kenny Rogers, Rogers went to Jefferson Davis high school in Houston.
Bj has some of the most important songs ever created. Was it the words or his sound or both. It's pretty fishy how good the songs were. All number one. ❤
His version of Amazing Grace to my mind is the best ever. What a loss to the world, but a big gain for the heavenly singers who made Heaven their home thru their faith in Jesus.
The one and only, I will miss you for ever more, thank you for the legacy of music you left us to enjoy for ever more, love you to the moon and back, always and forevermore ❤💙💜💚💛🧡
Oh wow I didn’t even know he passed away, my condolences to everyone and his wife & family... I love his music . Especially the Christian ones. Rest in paradise with your beautiful music.
Kind Man, Beautiful Voice, Great Artist, Class Act! 15 Top 40 Hits, 10 Top 40 Country Hits, 5 Grammys, 11 Gold Records, over 100 Albums produced and over 75 million records sold and he is NOT in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame!! James Taylor and Jackson Brown are inducted but not B.J. Thomas??!!! are you F ING kidding me??!! Shame on you Rock and Roll Hall of Shame!!! Shame!!!! Shame!!! And dont even get me started on The Grass Roots not being inducted!!!
His voice is so smooth, so gentle...and yet you can ALWAYS understand every word he sings. An uncommon blend of skills. His voice is always unmistakable - love to here him sing ....
besides his natural talent, he had a unique skill in using his microphone to aquire just the tone he wanted. i grew up with bj. he was about 5 yrs older. he and the triumphs played all around us along wwith roy head and the traits and neil ford and the fanatics. his wife gloria was living with me and another friend when she started dating bj. he was in love with her from the first time they met. 💕
There are not too many Legends left, especially from this Fine Group of Singers...…..! Once there gone, things will "Never" be the same way....God Bless Them...!
Highlight is when you see the others and especially Willie Nelson lipping along to the song. Now that's a sign of professional respect. Can't help but love Willie.
Rest In Peace, BJ 🙏😢💖🙏 I'm 53 now and can never remember a time in my life when I wasn't a fan of his songs... Thank you for a lifetime of great music and memories! God Bless!
My family misses you friend. I talked to your sweet wife yesterday. G misses you so much. Thank you for the years of friendship. It has always been such a blessing to know you all these years. One of my favorite memories is hanging out at your house and getting to hold one of your Grammy Awards! RIP BJ. You’re singing in God’s choir now along side my mom. Please tell her I miss and love her.
Lovely tribute to the legend. Let it be known that B.J. Thomas had a huge worldwide fan base (I'm Australian) and his music will live on forever. Bless you and Bless B.J. May he RIP.
A beautiful song.I always have been a big fan of B.J.Thomas.I love his music. It´s very sad to know that he has gone.I´m gonna miss him very much.Rest in peace great singer.I´m from Brazil.
Stands to reason. Along with him, Billy Jack, Burt Reynolds, Helen Reddy, and tons of other stars. That are leaving, on a weekly basis. Just like they were popping up, on a weekly basis, 50 years ago. BJ Thomas, and the 70's are fading away. One by one. Just like they showed up. RIP BJ You were great
A God fearing man who didn't sell his soul to the devil or illuminati. Was famous but never got promoted like others who did. Ronnie Millsap knows about this, his songs rarely played yet he had more hits than just about anybody
Illuminati? Devil? It is simply called commercialism. Most of the people on that stage had their time at the top, the reason they were on that stage is their music was no longer being played and they made these videos as a commercial venture. Has always been that way, nothing to do with the the things you mentioned.
Saw Milsap last year in Deadwood. Time to retire Ronnie, sound like crap. After bragging about still being around in his late 70s he doesn't know how crappy he sounds. Can't carry a tune to the outhouse.
B. J. Thomas was a virtuoso singer ; Class , gentleman , beautiful soul . Voice is one of a kind , mellifluous , Christian Brother be peaceful in paradise ... 🙋♂️❤👍😉🙏
The way everybody joins in singing, a song that gets in everybody’s heart, BJ’s voice fits the song so well like it also did perfectly on the song “ I just can’t help believe in”
I like how the late great Chet Atkins just sat there being entertained and never played along or sang…just sat and enjoyed a great song by a great fellow artist.
My Mom and I used to sing this song. She passed in 2021 after 96 years with me. We sang it before she passed. I sure miss her on this Mother's Day. I miss you Mom and will see you again, I am sure. 💞💞
Watch how they all join in almost immediately with B J, a room full of Hall of Fame talent, get tears just watching them, love these sit downs, to listen to the behind the story story.
Happy Birthday B. J. Thomas! You are so very missed. I always like this song! They don't write songs like this anymore. A bit silly but nice! Thank you! I also love your voice singing it.
Man this why I LOVED old Nashville. It's the good old boys, Elvis grew up in a phenomenal time, too bad he didn't surround himself with more of the Greats to give him that creative outlet he so needed in order to TRULY THRIVE. He would have been so much more fulfilled in life. The world sure got shorted on this end.
Another Somebody Done Somebody.... what a song and what a rendition by B J. What a singer, what a looker, those eyes and that voice. Never be another like B J.
