That's a classic from my childhood. I remember there was a glitch in the sixth boss in my version of the game where the last skeleton wouldn't spawn, causing the level to be impossible to beat.

Had a SNES growing up but never heard of this game but my older brother got me this bootleg handheld thing with 1000s of games on it. The dialogue is in Japanese on mine but it's the best hidden gem I've discovered so far

Wow! So I'm not the only one who thought of boss #3 as a spider; despite the fact that we only ever see it with two arms, and that absolutely nothing about the rest of it's anatomy is reminiscent of a spider. Weird that.🤔
This was the first game I bought for my new SNES when I was a kid. I found it so boring I took it back for a refund! I think might have got Vortex in replacement.
I liked the Sega version more better music and better explosion effect on boss after you destroy them I hate the music in this version why it's like this
