Not siding with b rogue but the motors are hard to tune yet alone twin turbo from videos I saw
@TwilightsPurple
@TwilightsPurple Год назад
So they basically stated: “We’re aware that you guys saw the video, and after consulting with a lawyer, they told us that we have no legal grounds to do anything. With that being said, we don’t care what Strad said, and will continue with our normal business as if nothing ever happened. Oh, side note, these 5 liter Gallardo are garbage, it’s not our fault that it broke. You can even go ask other shops!” Very pathetic response to be honest. They’d gain a lot more respect back if they just admit their faults and try to make everything right.
@thegamingnoob4368
@thegamingnoob4368 Год назад
it’s also very pathetic for everyone to target a company for a build that has taken this long, if it was easy like the huracans it would’ve been finished ages ago but it’s not, nobody actually knows what’s gone on, they might have messed up, stradman might’ve messed up, it’s all speculation.

@@thegamingnoob4368most gallardo twin turbo projects take barely a month or two longer. Doesn’t excuse anything, yes they’re more difficult, but the extent of what BRogue put strad through is completely absurd, 4 years, 50k, for a car that came to his house broken.
@TwilightsPurple

@@thegamingnoob4368 It’s also extremely pathetic for a company that specializes in this kind of stuff to not only take on more than they could handle, but then also take zero accountability for their poor work. @thegamingnoob4368

@@jacobsmith6437 so if you sent your car away knowing most gallardos take a month or two and it takes 4 years, you wouldn’t just take your car back and tell them you don’t want their business anymore? it’s not like they’re holding his car hostage, he could’ve taken the car at any time and paid someone else to do it, there’s things on both sides is all i was saying and again, nobody knows the full truth.

@thegamingnoob4368 Год назад
@@TwilightsPurple let’s say you’re right, they messed up very badly and don’t want to admit it, do you still get the full story? no you don’t, like i said to someone else who replied to my comment, strad could’ve taken his car back at any time, after 4 years you don’t think you’d have enough of not having the car yet.

B-rough is in a bad state..it took them 3 years to come up with excuses on why they couldn't even copy a regular TT Gallardo setup as other shops moved on from that platform. Simplified situation: dude took a car to get work done at a shop that said they could do it, they tried, charged him $52,000, still didn’t work and there were other issues with the car aside from the engine. As a business, you have a responsibility to do everything you can to make sure your work is done and done right before it leaves to the customer. Otherwise you need to be honest about it and say “look, we can’t get it figured out, we’re sorry.” And give something of a refund. BRogue has no leg to stand on. even if stards car is in working running order leaving the shop, that doesnt explain the broken trunk strut, broken ebrake, and why there is oil leaking in the engine bay. I do agree though that the less said the better for B rouge probably because they know they messed up, also just because a car is hard to work on doesn't mean that you return it broken after over 3 years and expect it to be fine.

B-Rogue just basically admitted that they weren't going to be able to do a good job from the beginning when they said other people have also talked about the problems with "these 5 liter cars". If you couldn't do it, just say it and you wouldn't have wasted time, money, and resources. Additionally, James already has such a strong case in the form of a video. Just imagine the case in-person if it escalates to that level.

There really isn't much of an opinion to take from the brouge and strad situation at the moment. It seems to be fully one-sided so far. Brouge was paid to mod strad's car. They failed to do so and broke it multiple times along the way, strad clearly kept paying them to fix it because clearly they kept saying they could. In the end, they completely broke his car and handed it back to him in that condition. They deserve to be sued by strad and strad deserves, not only all the money he gave to them back, but brouge should also pay another shop to properly fix his car and mod a proper twin turbo kit onto it. Keeping as silent as possible is the best thing to do legally, but it's also the worst thing they can do in this situation. If Brouge actually cared about its customers and products, then they should've jumped right on the opportunity to pay strad back in full, at the very least. The fact that they declined every single thing strad offered is proof that they don't really care at this point. They probably just care about the money more than anything.

Why is this even being discussed. They made a quotation. They made a plan for the build. James paid for the build. The build was never finished and shipped back broken. They admitted their mistakes. The car itself is proof down to the sloppy Ebrake mistake. If you can't deliver the finished product you promised you compensate the buyer for it unless James had to sign a contract stating that it's his own risk which i highly doubt given the "professional state" of B Rogue.

From a non-Strad viewer nor fan viewpoint, the responsibility of a car shop is to deliver a car in the same or better condition than it was handed to them. They definitely failed on that basic goal and washing their hands is definitely NOT the way to go. Unfortunately for Strad where he went wrong is that there are a few very well known shops that specialize in exactly these platforms and in hindsight, it's not a great idea to put such a big job on the hands of "how hard could it be?" levels of experience. Lessons learned in both camp although by reading the B Rouge's statements and their lack of accountability I wouldn't at this point hand them the keys of a Honda Civic since they're not responsible for their own actions. Either way their reputation is ruined by their own accord.

They likely should have sent someone out to diagnose it and look at the car ASAP and from what stradman said it seems like he gave them a chance but they denied. Making the excuse that the Gallardo is an old platform with little to no parts availability/aftermarket support is probably the worse excuse you can make. There are older cars with even less OEM/aftermarket support that are still being built and maintained to this day. There are individuals and companies out there that are willing to refurbish or fabricate parts from scratch. There are even cars that outlive their companies and are still running on the streets today with plenty of ways to mod them to meet modern standards of performance and comfort. Finally, in the worst case scenario if the project doesn't work out, replace the original components you took out and return it to its owner the same way it arrived in your shop. If you're unable to perform on a car simply because it's "too old," then maybe you shouldn't run an auto shop business.

Here's my 5 cents in the matter. If a company is well aware of certain cars being a pos, why would they even bother to take on the job? I work in the 12v industry with cars, and we often turn vehicles down because of the issues that they bring. That also includes customers. We would rather loose money and not do the job. Than loose money and get a bad reputation even tho we explain the customer that it's not our fault. There's been times where we were tempted to take on the job. But at the end of the day we let ir go to avoid such conflict. So in my opinion I think that b rouge it's a fault regardless of how big of pos the cars are. Have a good day.

The main issue with b rogue and the reason Strad posted the video is because first off they took more than 4 YEARS TO COMPLETE his car, but more importantly didn't even respond to him when he voiced that it had issues for months on end after paying them $52,000 If their workmanship doesn't show how crap they are as a business, then their customer service sure does!!

Let's just get it out there, the "Myriad Problems" with pre-LP Gallardos aren't really that many if you don't count common user-error: 1) Disintegrating stock cats causing bore scoring (even if damage had occurred, this should probably be addressed if they actually "built" the motor vs just plumbing some wu-tang war-whistles on there.) This could cause blow-by and oil smoke, for sure especially exacerbated by boost. 2) Not the strongest stock rods, can get bent by free-revving too enthusiastically (again, should be addressed by a "build" 3) oil pump drive shaft can fail but usually not catastrophic 4) Timing chain guides may need attention on particularly high mile cars, but not guaranteed. 5) Fuel pumps and Throttle bodies can f-off, the former cross reference to a VW the latter are expensive 6) front lower control arm ball joints are weak 6) rear bumper cover frame is flimsy and breaks a lot.....and we're well outside of the drivetrain at this point. People do over-fill the oil and cause issues, high mile cars can have problems with o-rings on an oil pipe off of the filter, but it's not like the 5.0s are intrinsically fragile, they're just not as idiot-proof as the 5.2s.
