AJ, the FSM skips a lot of steps and that f**king hidden bolt getting the cases apart. This is my first B AWD case, but I'm well versed in D's and B's FWD trans. THANK YOU! -Mista Bone, D trabnny Guru
No problem happy it helped. I should be doing another awd b series transmission this winter. I will try to make a better video to help others in the future with more details. Also with the reinstall and putting it back together
Great video I own a 1995 Acura integra gsr and when I try to put my car in reverse it feels like it doesn’t want to go in, yet when it does engage it does not go out of reverse unless I drive a little bit backwards then it pops out of reverse, I don’t know what can that be
You mentioned rubber spray. Don't use any type of rubber undercoating, it just trap moisture and breathes rust. Get the area clean, apply a quality epoxy primer, and then topcoat it.
Thanks. I have looked under the car and was unhappy with the results so might be taking your advise and redoing it again. Any epoxy product you have used before or can recommend.
@@dontoolshop815 do the transmission goes in to gear while the car is off. Does it grind when changing gears and the car is on. or it is stuck in gear no matter what.
Might be the 5th gear is messed up, or the synchro. Another might be the shift lever is bent. We're you driving the car before it got stuck in 5th. Or is the transmission out the car.
Yes you can use the same b18 engine with the crv transmission. The same b18 clutch you have. But I believe the starter are different and you will need one from the crv.
