I have a 8.7 APC223 PDW with Surefire RC2, with the suppressor gas setting the thing shoots like a .22! Its also so accurate I got rid of both Scar 16/17. Its way more superior than Scars.
I said the same thing, I looked at my collection after shooting my apc9sd and said to myself, what am I doing. My collection is trying to mimic what B&T is already offering, and I've spent the same if not more money trying to copy that. The only thing I "modify" on my B&T is the Elftmann trigger, single side safety, 1913 rear, and a larger side folding charging handle (which is questionable).
The APC223 is the pinnacle of 5.56 rifle design. Out performs my: scar, bren 2, mk18, and just about anything else you can think of. Mine has the retractable brace though. The bolt is so smooth, I had to get the 308. And I love my 16 but B&T just makes better firearms.
Bad experience with B&T. APC223,12.5 Barrel. SBRed while waiting for RBS can made for this gun. 100's of rounds no problem. When put B&T RBS can switch to suppressed mode turns into a single shot and doesn't cycle. Tried quite a few times using federal ammo from B&T .Called B&T and they said some had issues and to run it in unsurpressd mode. Like having no can at all. Called back and said they should fix it so it works as advertised with specific can and their ammo. Basically kma so I'm out price of gun and can and 2 tax stamps. The gun works flawless with Ruggsd surge can. I'm sure some reviewers had issues but won't mention it or they loose freebies. I have 3 other B&T guns no issues. Love the apc10. I've lost confidence in B&T and reviewers who never say anything negative about what they are testing. Cavat emptor
I wish I can give feedback with a suppressor, but I'm in the abhorrent state of Illinois where they believe supressors make a gun shoot at 3x the speed of light. That said, it's disappointing to hear about your experience, but I'd bet on it being the exception, not the rule. They are extremely well built and tuned, normally, but everyone's human and errors can occur.
@@damansbedi Definitely amazing quality. But weight wize I’d go with the Cz bren2. I’m assuming you live in Canada where options are limited. Get these liberals outta here.
@@EchoDelta2AI recently got a spear-lt, but I have my eye on the apc223 if I have that kind of cash burning a hole in my pocket, especially if it isn’t nearly as gassy as the spear when suppressed
