Tony, this was a great walk around of the UDT. I especially like how you didn't edit out the effort required on some of the pins and latches. I know they need a little grease but it shows how beefy the thing is. It did not move at all when you loaded your BobCat! Nice color combination too.
Holds one Rv and or 2, 18 wheelers, capacity unknown, somewhere in the neighborhood of 400 thousand tons. 4 foot 489 inches wide, Can back up in a trailer park blind folded , ok for work, but great when caught in a warzone, lol , that's awesome , love this setup!
great setup ! that is a really smart design. i just bought a pj 7x12 which suits my needs. but that is the sickest most badass trailer i have ever seen. best to you !
'Tony: Thanks for an excellent simple video showing the basic operation and loading of the Bwise Trailer. I'm also in Virginia (Burkeville) and have a few questions if you have time: 1. Any reason why you bought through the superstore in PA? Price I'm assuming? 2. Can you provide the name of the trailer superstore? 3. How heavy is your Bobcat A300 with the bucket? 4. Any problems hauling your 12k Cat? 5. It would be great if you can post a video or info what you find out regarding CDL in Virginia. I'm worried about the same thing. I'm planning on pulling mine with a F350. 6. Any reason why you chose the 14' vs. the 16'? More net cargo weight? Thanks again. This was very helpful and clinched my decision to buy the BWise UDP.
FYI, those jacks on the back keep your rear truck tires on the ground, when loading equipment. If you’re parked on a hill, while loading, it can make for an interesting ride if the trailer wheels aren’t chocked.
I would think the bucket should go in first so more of the machine weight is over the axels and not added tongue weight. I just bought the 14’ today. Taking it home on Monday.
I want to buy another one but it is a little pricey. It is really a bad ass trailer. Makes life much easier when loading and unloading also the gate and ramp are pretty easy to use once you figure out the levers.
I still have this dump traier and it is in great condition and still works absolutely amazing! This thing can take a beating. Only reason i wont buy another is because the price is wayyyyyy too much now its ridiculous.
It’s a nice trailer but being dependent on the hydraulic gate seems like it wouldn’t hold well on a cold snowy day as the hydraulic fluid would cold to where it be slow to open or not open at all. Also with the trailer jack. It’s a really cool trailer though
Look like a nice trailer. Two things I would change are the two latches/tabs on both sides of the ramp. If a piece of equipment does slip while loading and bends one of the tabs, you might not be able to close the ramp properly. Second thing would be building the frame outta 8in I beam.
how many times are you able to dump and or run the gate on a single charge? I assume the 110 is only a trickle charge and really very minimal charge from truck.
It's hard to say how many times but I would guess about a week if you are using it lightly. If you are using it many times a day and dumping heavy loads it will need a charge. It's simple to just plug it up at night and put a note on your dash board saying unplug trailer before driving.
Any 7 round RV plug has a 20 amp battery charge line built in. So if the trailer utilizes it like they should, the truck will provide 20 amps for charging anytime the trailer is connected. Many vehicles leave that terminal hot even when the tow vehicle key is off.
It is a really cool design but if she have to stack anything higher I feel like you would get caught on the door also now there is many more things that can go wrong and may need repairs instead of a simple lift and open the doors by yourself
This is what I am concerned about as we haul tree debris in our trailer often and that could cause a problem when we have mounding tree debris to dumb. I like the sides that fold making loading the trailer easier
Very nice set up / trailer 👌 any issues on keeping that battery charged? 🔋 I put a solar panel charger on mine to help minimize that issue with mine !!! Thank you for sharing....
OK, so your trailer is empty, you put the supportive drop legs down in the back, you load the machine. Trailer is now sitting there with a bunch of weight in it. How hard is it to release and pick the drop legs back up for travel? It looks like they would be in a bind with all the weight of the equipment that is in the trailer.
I dont even drink, but this is one of them trailers 4 or 5 buddies stand around holding beers looking at it and admiring it for hours, next thing you know it's 1:00am and some how you got talked into hauling 5 head of cattle in it and one buddy sitting on a cow with a 24 pack of Milwaukee's Best when you get back to your destination. Only for everyone to wonder how your buddy got a case of Milwaukee's Best becouse no one drinks that sh#t. 😂😂😂
@@thereviewer3295 Sounds reasonable, add up the extra hydraulics, build quality, paint, wheels, higher sides, ramp, and im sure a great warranty... I can see 11 5 justified. I would invest in a case of fluid film and spray moving parts and areas that could rust once a month or so.... Keeping it nice it should hold value nicely.
I think he meant "a little bit bigger [above the ground]; 48 inch [actual walls]." Or perhaps he might be used to working with lumber where 4 inches is not 4 inches.
I do hardscaping and landscaping. I will see if I can find something to put together. We were going to start doing videos on that this year! I do have 1 or 2 though.
@@paulbaskerville2748 I got you now. Unlike others that pivot out as well to avoid that. This only goes up. Good point. I guess if you just haul gravel or dirt, might be ok.
Give it to me straight! No BS. How much for a 14 or 15 footer? And what type of Truck (Chevy, Ford, Dodge) will I need to pull that dam thing without destroying my Engine and Transmission. Thank you serious buyer.
The Ultimate dump 16' with 7k axles runs about 17K $. it weighs over 5K empty. you need a minimum of a stout 3/4 ton. Diesel is recommended since the GVW with the 7K axles is 15,500LBS. I have a 14' Bwise dump but am upgrading to the Ultimate dump this summer. 8K axles will set you back another 2400 or so and come with some serious tires on them with different rims.
That is awsome ,but what about the DOT it requires to secure ,4points other than that the trailer is great ,also requires to have CDL .if You have dump truck and 14k gvw trailer ,
THE GREEK yes it is ,DOT fucks everyone even if you use glasses in your driver license say correction glasses and you don’t weare your glasses that is an Impound
@@thereviewer3295 so many rust so quickly, not just that brand. Most don't even prime them. I figure on my next trailer I'm gonna ask that they don't paint it. I went to pick up propane tanks at a place that makes them. They put the tanks after they are made outside to rust a bit. Then paint them.
if it needs major grease, why not include that part in video, im not trying to knock what the product is, at all. over all nice video. im just just stating a well know fact, your trailer is new and proud of it as i would be.. save your knuckles and skin. Be safe my friend
O did not think to including greasing it up. I had just brought it home and wanted to make a quick video on the trailer. Greasing it is really easy. Maybe I will make a video on how to maintain it and some other little things I forgot to mention.
Yes it did. There are 4 latches you can remove the door. I thought I was unlocking the same latch to put the door back in place but it was the other latch. Gotta be careful.
@@patriotarborist711 16 foot bumper pull with hydraulic jack is sweet if u switch trucks alot and still all original even the battery minus some flat tires along the way
Depends what size you get 12, 14 or 16 foot. Mine is a 14 foot. I paid 11,500 dollars but I got a great deal I believe they range around 13,500 to 16k depending where you go. Just Google B wise ultimate dump trailer to find the nearest distributor near you.
Depending on what size you get and where you get it the prices vary. Also with the tariffs going up there are going to be a little bit more expensive because of the metal. You're looking around 14 to $15000.
@@thereviewer3295 a little to pricey for me 😥, but then again i need barn doors and ramp for my skid steer but i did like the hidden storage and tire placement.
