Sorry, to say the gentleman talking about the liner didn’t seem like the right guy to sell the product. Stan as usual great videos and Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
@@Dirtmonkey I wonder if the camera makes these guys nervous? Not sure why it would but that does seem to make people act weird at times. I would like to see how much moisture the liner traps in a few years after it gets scratched and nicked up during use. I bet it starts to rust pretty bad after a few years.
We've had an Ultimate Dump for about 2 years now. Great concept, poor execution. Love the ramp, especially for loading and unloading equipment. We haul a skid steer or a e35 mini x. The ramp makes it very easy to load and unload. Also wheelbarrow friendly unlike most other ramps, it's a little steep but at least you can roll a wheel barrow on it. All the other ramps I've seen are angle steel. not good for wheel barrows at all. Love the fold down side's when loading concrete demo. Easy to lift big pieces over the side SET them in the trailer. Cargo cover with arms works very well, makes covering much easier and quicker than most trailers. Hydraulic leg awesome! Dumping has never really been a problem when everything is working properly, explanation coming. It's GVRW is 14500lbs. It weigh's about 4500lbs. So technically your not supposed to haul over 10'000lbs. We have routinely hauled 5 tons and never had a problem dumping. Now the bad... First year the battery took a crap. In their defense it says right on the battery "complimentary battery". We replaced it with a Blue Top and a solar charger and it solved our problem. We'll dump 5 loads with 5 tons per load in a day with no problems. First year we got a hydraulic leak. It was a fitting that needed to be tightened which normally would be an easy fix but since they run the hydraulic lines inside the boxed frame it makes getting to some of the fitting a pain in the ass. 2nd year the hydraulic pump burnt up. The windings inside the pump arced together and fried the motor. 3 months after that the hydraulic selector valves took a crap. We would raise the ramp to dump but when we started dumping the ramp would come down so we would have to stop dumping to raise the ramp back up 2 or 3 times each load. And then the trailer leg would come down as well while we were dumping. Since the hydraulic pressure was leaking to place's other than the dump ram it would take much longer to dump, couldn't dump as much and would drain the battery after 2 dumps. During that time the ramp wouldn't close right. We assumed it was due to the hydraulic issues. Turns out the 2 pins at the top of the ramp were bent and had to be replaced. Almost forgot, we also had one of the leaf springs break. Where the leaf spring connects to the front shackle, the loop in the leaf spring where the bolt go's threw snapped off. Again in their defense, they covered everything but the battery which was understandable, sort of. Randy with customer support was great. When the hydraulic motor burnt up he had a new to us in a few days. We choose to fix it ourselves because we didn't want the trailer sitting in a repair shop for 3 weeks. He also got everything else fixed under warranty which was great. My biggest problem is, when you pay almost twice what most other trailers that size cost you should not have to deal with that many issues in the first 2 years. We usually only used it 3 or 4 days a month so it's not like we were beating the crap out of it everyday. When everything is operating properly the Ultimate dump is an awesome trailer. I think the quality of the parts just needs to drastically improve. This was much longer than I meant for it to be but there it is.
Thanks Tim unfortunately I didn’t ask them about warranty so I’ve paid for all parts but wouldn’t pay for another trailer from bwise again and you don’t leave me with great expectations to look forward to concept is great but diamond c needs to make the ultimate dump
The liner was cool! I wish he would have engaged a little more about the product. Thanks for pulling some questions out of him! That’s a steal for 500$!
That guy is anything but a Salesman. The first guy you approached seemed like an owner and he didn’t want to talk to you and the guy that was suppose to talk to you didn’t even know his own website. I don’t care how good or cost effective a product is, I wouldn’t do business with those guys or their “dealer network.” Hard pass.
💥 That lined trailer was nice! I found it funny how little the guy wanted to tell you about it. He missed an opportunity to really promote their product. *Keep on tractoring!*
i worked at that show, that's me in the orange shirt at the :42 mark across the aisle waving my arms for some reason. I tried to talk to that guy several times during the show, same response. Very guarded and reserved. Nice trailer though. Probably one of my favorites there.
Stan, your videos are great. Anything you put out is very informative and great for everyone including for the our customers to understand why companies charge what they do. Thank you Stan.
I’m reading sarcasm in your comment because Darrel was an AWFUL salesperson. Stanley gave him a HUGE platform and the dude just bombed. Stanley practically had to walk the guy through the sales pitch himself.
Stan, another awesome video. I appreciate what you bring to your viewers and the industry. You are fearless in your interview process. It amazes me how many of these vendors seem not prepared to talk while others are. Maybe some are camera shy. LOL. Anyways great content.
Wow, amazing how much a potential buyer can learn from helpful manufacturering reps about their products- all for.no cost to the manufacturers!! What a concept! 😂😂😂 That Beewise is swweeeet! 💙💙
Great insider look at what the community is offering. I happen to own one of the B-Wise Ultimate dumps and so far I really like it. She's a heavy girl so be ready with a substantial tow vehicle. Keep up the great video content and we wish you and yours a fantastic Christmas season.
I love the bwise trailer. The flip down sides would be huge for us with our mini skid steer and easier to build leaf box in fall with taller sides. Genious
You have the some of the MOST informative videos in the world ,Thanks for all your hard work and research .We really enjoy the footage! AL's Art. Landscapes
@@Dirtmonkey there is a driver in Anchorage Alaska that has a dump truck and pup trailer. Both can dump from the rear or the side. Have you seen anything like that in MN?
I find this series of videos fascinating. Not that I have a use for a trailer of any kind, as I don't own any equipment but, it's really cool to see what's out there. Another great video. Thanks for sharing. God bless.
That ramp tailgate on the B-Wise dump trailer sure looks a whole lot less sketchier than trying to walk mini-ex or skidloader up a set of separate steel ramps. And I for sure thought it would be priced on the other side of $25k. Thanks Stan!
Stan, I do like the show's that you've posted. But then I've NOT been disappointed by any of your postings. You just keep them coming and we'll keep watching👍👍👍👍👍😺🤗🐺
That bedliner coating is a great idea. Like that Liberty trailer too, Can't find one to price, bet it's super expensive. And that Ultimate Dump is simply amazing. Thanks for going to the trouble of marching in and taking control Dirt Monkey style. You made it happen
Amazing how many of the other trailer manufacturers have followed Diamond C on thier features. Glad I bought my lopro 16ft telescopic dump from them 2 yrs ago. They set the standard and bar for the others it seems.
Those other trailer manufacturers were so much more professional and helpful explaining their products compared to the reception you received from Floe Intl. The liberty, big Tex and the blue trailer at the end was pretty cool. Thanks for sharing.
With things like the electric lift for gooseneck trailers, a lot of people will only consider the cost of doing something, or the cost of not doing something, and fail to look at both aspects. Sure, the electrics are more expensive in the short term, but over time the time savings from not having the driver crank may be of a lot more benefit - especially if there's frequent hitching/unhitching involved. Then there's the physical/health aspects, it means a worker who has a lighter build can't be injured cranking a heavy load and/or if the driver's carrying an injury it won't be a problem. That "unltimate" tailgate is cool, and I like the high pivot point for the bottom opening. The trade off for the slower opening may be worth it as it should stop binding and/or sudden opening that can be a problem with simple manual locks where the load is against the gate.
I'm embarrassed for all these guys you try to help out and they have zero sales personality. I've had 18 year olds at the car wash do a better job selling than some of these bozo's. Keep making great videos and keeping it real! You're awesome Stanley.
I bought an ultimate dump when they first came out. I don’t use it everyday but It’s held up very well over the years. The only thing I’ve ever had to do to it was switch the the rims and tires to 17.5’s. They weren’t an option back then.
Oh and the hydraulic dump trailer gate and fold down sides are awesome! I wonder how well things would slide out with the bed liner on the other dump trailer though. Great idea though.
I really enjoy these, thank you. I'm retired and if I could, I'd just travel around and attend trade shows. Some say "get a life", I'd say that would be a fun life.
I own that Bwise trailer. It’s so awesome. Best trail. You can stand on the hydraulic lift it up and trim trees or use it a a scaffolding platform for construction
WOW!!! ONLY $300-$500!!! Hell,.. I would pay $1,000 for that spray-on liner! The long-term investment would pay for itself a hundred times, from just rust alone!!! Think of extra protection from the elements!!! VERY IMPRESSED. Good job!!!
Its great to see companies that have a passion for the products vs people in work shirts. I say this as many of these shows dont have the Grade A Sales Shrew in tow. Lesson for some of these guys: expect every interaction to be your next customer. Esp when they are recording.
The farm machinery show in Louisville is pretty good, I've been to it several times over the years and it's pretty big. I would also recommend the tractor pulls at night. One of the few places you can watch an indoor tractor pull, it's really awesome actually.
We bought the trailer back in 2015, back then they where only 12k now looking around they have nearly doubled in price. That being said it is an amazing trailer. It has held up well because I’ve definitely at times over loaded it. The double acting gate is great, most times we use a stand on mini skid steer and simply drive any large debris up the ramp and dump it inside the trailer, over the years it’s only bound up when dumping on the gate a couple times but no big deal. Overall it’s made life much easier definitely recommend the ultimate dump.
That blue one is nice. Very big maybe for roofing or if you are anti dump truck. I'd love to see it were the sides could fold flat to load some pallets on the side. And it should have a. Option to swing the gate to dump stumps liked you mentioned.
I've had a load trail dump for about 7 years. Same hydraulic ramp, but with a cylinder on both sides. Not only is it easier, but it is so much safer to load equipment then to use the pull out ramps. You did hit the one down side. I've had stumps and larger debris get hung up and had to use the excavator to get them out.
@@Dirtmonkey yes, loved it. No issues at all. The 3 ft sides are perfect. Hauls plenty but still easy to work over the side, and easier to get in and out when tying down equipment.
I think that it's sensational that there's a channel that is so much about TRAILERS, i use trailers a lot but not to make a living, and i still cliick on all the videos and appreciate the reviews. The things men get into it's pretty interesting
Another really cool super awesome video. I love the material you put out and very educating at that. Keep up the great work and you and your family have a very merry Christmas and a Happy New Years. Sincerely, Eddie- reliable snow removal LLC ( Southern Tier of Lake Erie lake effect snow. Hamburg New York and would love a shout-out from the greatest RU-vid Guru out there! Thanks again for the great videos stan!
Much appreciated Eddie. Next time I do shout outs- I will have you on there for sure. Stay Safe and warm over there in New York. You get much snow in your area? Seems some places in New York get slammed.
@@Dirtmonkey not in the last week it's been pretty warm but usually starting beginning of November( we're dead in the heart of lake-effect every year for probably centuries) it's pretty steady until the end of February/ mid march. Can you take a look at damn strong loaders. 55k almost just like your sludge but would love to see you get a demo from them? I will be tuned in every week. Thanks again Stan
And that's how you disseminate information and get interest in your product. Not like that other guy who will go un-named. Another great video highlighting new and improved products.
Trailers, with neat/new features, never get old - But, we like All the other stuff Too… Basically, anything that saves time, $$$, or effort - Bring It On…
I dint remember seeing a video from you, but the Paul Bunyan show in ohio would be awesome to see. Mainly logging/tree work/land clearing equipment but would be neat to see more of the equipment. I used to work for a company that went this last year took a few machines.
That Cobra liner looks BAD-A$$. That should just be standard on a dump trailer. Especially for that little amount of money$$$$ probably help prevent rust/corrosion up here in MN!!! 😎👍 Midsota trailers offers front rock coating on the face of the dump, framing in front, and fenders. But not the whole thing. Luv the vids Stan.
They could probably make that blue tailgate a 3 way by adding a hinge on the hydraulic side allowing the whole gate assembly to swing around maybe 200 degrees. With a double hinge they could swing to be parallel to the side of the trailer.
Midsota trailer out of MN, line-x my whole versa dump back in 2005. Best thing ever and I paid $200 full encapsulated. Their stidsteer dump gate is great also(same as last blue trailer except I didn’t have hydro system).
