Great stuff man, I also have a high hp LS non vtec.. good stuff on running 10s.. btw has anyone even ran 9s or 8s with the LS? Not many people give it a chance and I know the motor can do it.
Yea i think a guy has ran 9's with one befor years ago .ppl dont relize the potential i did this on a stock ls trans too no lsd. with better gearing like gsr that keeps you in boost and in the power band better it could be a 9 easy at this power lvl.
@@KongEG I haven't seen any videos of any running 9s but I am sure someone already has or even 8s.. and yes lsd will help alot.. I have a type r transmission but the gearing is so short I have to shift to 5th when racing in the 1/4 mile..
@@civicpride1986 I ran 11 flat @ 131mph on the 1/4 with 460WHP. Same issues with a B16 tranny (to short) and OBX LSD gearing into 5th gear (car dies). I upgraded to a 4.05 Mfactory FD and retuned the car to 525WHP but I wasn’t able to test the car because I crashed at the track on first pass. That’s the reason because I started a new whole build and looking for 700-750WHP.
