Thanks Dave, very informative, particularly the fuel filter, should help when I tackle mine. Enjoy the rain. 😊

Hi Bruce! Thank you, sir! The fuel filter cleaning part of the manual is pretty vague in places. I got a couple more tips: Use needle nose pliers to remove the element. I've seen others use small screwdrivers (and that works) but the pliers work much better in my opinion. Hold your catch bucket up high as soon as you start to remove the filter bowl because once it gets loose enough, the fuel that's still under a bit of pressure will start to gush. Thanks for watching!

Great Video :) I hate to admit this I have no idea when I checked front tire pressure last :( Noticed moving dirt they seemed to squat.. yep down 7 lbs. Turfs are back up to 22 lbs.
@PaleHorseOutdoors

Hi again! Thank you for your kind words! I'm surprised that tire pressure/tire checks are not part of the daily or regular maintenance schedules. The manual basically just says to keep an eye on them and service as needed. Thanks for reminding us!

Excellent job! These type videos are some of my favorite to watch. No matter how experienced we are at doing maintenance on equipment from time to time people will share tips you never thought about. My battery on the M6060 still shows green but being 6 years old I’m expecting it to fail at anytime. Take care!

Hey Ed! I really wish they would! LOL Thank you so much for your kind words. I really do appreciate it, buddy. The building is 36x48. It's nice and roomy, but I wish it was 60' long so I could have an inside attachments bay. I think we're just going to extend the roof over the rear pad similar to Martin's one day. Thanks again, man! Take care

I'm preparing to do the 100 hour service on my B2601 and going over the procedure (my first tractor). On the fuel filter cleaning, can you use anything other than kerosene? I don't have any use for kerosene, so I don't have any on hand. Thank you for the informative video!
@PaleHorseOutdoors
@PaleHorseOutdoors 2 года назад
Hi Bill! There are other solvents for cleaning parts that are similar to kerosene, but I don't know if they would be appropriate for the filter material. And you'd be in the same boat of having a quantity of fluid that you don't use for anything else. Those filters and filter assemblies are really cheap though. I've read that a lot of people just replace it each time (along with new rings). If you come up with a good alternative, let me know! Thanks for watching. :)

@@PaleHorseOutdoors I'll keep you posted. By the way, what's that ballast box you have on your tractor in the video?
@PaleHorseOutdoors
@PaleHorseOutdoors 2 года назад
@@billgammon8734 Thanks, sir! That's the WB1099 Weight Box. I really like it because it's size and shape let me maintain maneuverability in the woods. The only thing it's missing is a 2" hitch receiver but there's plenty of room to add one.
