Aight, this video might not be as forfilling as the previous three, and it might also be a little bit more uneasy, since I'm starting to go into the controversies and the more uneasy parts of the game, starting with Victorious Consequences, an area whose name I came up with (although it was initially for a different area). I would consider this a prologue for the final video, which is going to be focused mostly on the topic of "Shame" as well as showing the "end game content". It will also be the only B3313 video, that will be edited, so it's going to be my highest effort B3313 video.
I don't think I like the idea of the final video. It seems like a pretty bad note to leave out on and I really don't care for the personal drama that all of these "Shame" areas inject into the game.
i'm interested in seeing the final video, i vaguely know what the shame areas are all about but i stopped keeping up with what happened till the official 1.0 release brought me back into fixating on this hack
@@johnathonturner2279 That won't be the main focus. I'll basically just show what they're a reference to, and nothing more than that. It'll primarily be a focus on the endgame content, as well as the "endings" and what you might consider an "ending" of the game.
In a way or another, the subject of "shame" in an integral part of the official 1.0 . I also think it's possible to show the area as it is and not doing so wouldn't do justice for showcasing the 1.0 content
@@dreamllusion8390 That's true. And realistically speaking, only two of the areas directly refer to unabandoned or someone who took their side, whereas everything else I'll be showing can be left completely up to interpretation.
Just wanted to say that I really enjoyed your videos on the 1.0 build :) I myself am at 132 stars and 7 reds, and your vids never ruined anything to me. Since most of the map being convoluted helped me to stay immersed into it ^^ It was a blast watching your stuffs, mike.
I recently got every star in this wonderful little hack and I'm honestly glad I ended up playing through it myself. It reminded me of playing through Yume Nikki completely blind when I was younger, and keeping a map of all the places I explored and how they branched out was confusing, but fun, in the end, comparing my notes to the official area names towards the end of my playtime. Watching your videos is interesting, not only just to see how you can instantly recognise areas but in the way where you know where to go, what routes you take to certain areas, and the schmoovement lol. Looking forward to more B3313 content, but don't feel pressured to keep making them.

Ok, some clarification. I won't be going completely in depth with the behind the scenes and what happened, and why unabandoned was created, etc. I'll merely be showing off the areas that have to do with shame, and what they're a reference to. You saw victorious consequences today, and that'll be around the same depth that I'll go into when it comes to the other areas. Hope that clears things out. Also, it will be a while before this video comes out, as I have at least 5 sub-videos on B3313 planned, including some shorts.
I've enjoyed this series and I realize it's almost over, but I do have something to critique about that maybe you could consider for future projects or whatnot? There's something in your B3313 content that pops up now and then, and I know you surely don't mean anything bad by it, but it does bug me. I understand that some areas are references to other SM64 ARGs and creepypastas and such, and you're clearly incredibly in-the-know about them all. However, not all of your viewers will be. I myself enjoy learning about B3313 but I'm not familiar with the sources of many of its references. So when you, at times, like in this video, say 'Obviously, this is a Greenio reference.' and then move on without saying anything more on the topic... Well, it kinda makes me feel like a dumbass for not knowing what the heck that reference is. (Especially when you say things like 'obviously'.) It would be nice to at least have little explanations for this sort of content, or at least some acknowledgement that your audience may not know everything that you do. :P Again, I realize you're not trying to do anything malicious or rude, but it is something that can alienate some viewers or make them feel bad. Now you don't always do poorly at this; in this same video you did a pretty decent job explaining the MarioNova64 reference I'd say, as somebody unfamiliar with it. But I do like your content. I'd really like for you to cover these mentioned ARGs/etc later too if you feel like it sometime, since it's clear you do know them well. Maybe then I can learn more about them too. :D
Thanks for the feedback. I'll try to be more concise about the references. I think the reason why I skip over the references to quickly (especially the greenio ones) is because some of the names for the references are essentially just a date. For example, 4th floor (final) is a reference to the video titled "07-29-1995", and there's no way I would remember that. Either way, I'll try to be more concise.

That is fair, especially since your videos are more one-take affairs and I imagine you're thinking fast to consider trivia pieces to talk about as you also play the game, so some stuff would be naturally lost along the way. I really hope in the last final 5 video you give some indepth information into the drama around the unabandoned team while showing off the areas. Try as I might, I can't seen to find any substantial information past "chris quit, they decided to finish it, chris didn't like it and started again" Saying again that I've absolutely loved these videos, I really hope this isn't the end of your B3313 content. It would be amazing to see a long series of you 100% completing the game, just commentating as you play regularly.
I won't be going too deep into that. I'll just be showing the areas and what they refer to. That's about as deep as I'm willing to go. Also because, there's a lot of misinformation out there on both sides, and I don't want to spread misinformation, letalone fan the flames when they're about to go out.
@@PositiveVibes94I know it's fair to know what happenned to a project we loved to follow, and I do as well. But unfortunately, as most ppl are drawn to drama, we often dig too far into stuff that should be buried, and hurt more ppl in the process. Mike imo does the good choice here by staying on his principle. Last thing ppl want is for the flames to be fan again.

I think that sometimes it's easy to dehumanize people when discussing drama, you forget that other people are...well, people. Live and learn etc
Hello, I am using the M64Plus FZ emulator on an Android phone to discover B3313 v1.0 but the problem is that I cannot start my game by selecting one of the files (file A, B, C or D ) to control Mario and experience the full B3313 v1.0 as it crashes with a black screen. Can anyone of you help me resolve this issue please?
After 3 red stars, it has a chance to kick in for certain areas, or if you want the level scaling to go complete BANANAS, you press the yellow switch, and collect white coins, such as the one found in the Tubular Lobby.
Oh I'll assure you, the last video will have some jimothy for sure. Although, there aren't really that many more places where he appears, but I'll be showing off all of them in the last video (It's going to be a long video).
