I've been in the B5/ B5.5 Audi/Vw game for two years now and its amazing how much things the MFG. improves on over the months of production. They definitely like to work out the problems concisely during production. That what makes them a great car MFG.. So many parts can be taken from other models and install for upgrades.. Great channel great content.
I love the AWD content. Yes, it's an Audi channel, but props for the Subie content. I've owned Audi/Subie vehicles, as I consider them the best AWD mode of transportation available. Interesting to see/hear different details on the pre-face lifted B5s. But yeah weird to hear a V8 in that chassis, I bet it rips though!!
great info.. i plan on 2.7t swapping the a4 i'm about to buy (yes i know i should buy a s4 but 600$/month for insurance is not for me haha) your videos just motivate me more also i know a little bit about tuning the me7 ecus but not really. i am not comfortable with messing with the actual tune yet although i know how to. i know a lot more about disabling things such as o2, emissions etc. and forcing readiness. who is your resource for flashing your ecus? with the swap i plan on leaving it somewhat stock or get a simple stage two, who do you recommend or should i use the community stage 2 file by ddillinger
Sounds like that s4 cranking in the beginning of the video has low compression on one or two cylinders. May want to do a compression or leak down test before you pull it out for the stage 3 upgrade.
I enjoy your videos but you are all over the place. The name of the video is "short shifter install" but I'm halfway through the video and haven't seen anything about a short shifter yet.
