mine was stuck and all i did was take it out take the tops off soak it in diesel went inside for about 30 min came back and it had unstuck it self and now the engine runs =)

Was yours stuck closed? I think I have that issue. Fuel isn't getting through the pump to the injectors. When I manually pump the fuel pump, it bypasses through the return line back to the tank

Chris Benson For mine, I was able to tap on the injection pump with a ball peen hammer and get the rod to loosen up. I did not have to remove the pump or anything - I kept it installed. The pump valve doesn’t want to return on its own if it runs out of diesel, so you need to coerce it to return back.

I think the problem is not the injection pump.

Maybe the crankshaft,con bearing or main bearings are worn out.
