Thanks for your interest. The install was a little tricky because it's a tight spot and you are doing most of it by touch. The three allen head bolts, that held in my stock diverter valve, had thread locker on them and would not unscrew by hand once loosened. It probably took me a couple hours to jack the car, replace the valve, and put the skid plate back on. Let us know if you have any more questions or if you'd like a short video discussing the install.
ECS tuning does make one for your car. It is slightly more expensive which may be why you are asking. The 2.0T motors are different between your model and mine along with body platform. Most likely the high flow cat and downpipe would be slightly different in mounting locations and how the pipe is bent.
Damn that’s where I’m at . I did a resonator and muffler delete now I’m scared to put the cat and downpipe from ecs that thing is gonna shoot out flames lol
@@alanramir9458 See comments on this video for the blow off valve. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-UL9IMA4UzvM.html The spacer is just Spark plugs non foulers drilled out. I believe I got Dorman P/N 42002.
At the time of this video release, modified oem intake, the high flow cat and downpipe, and a boost pressure gauge. Right now it has a JHM Stage 1 93 octane tune
To be honest, I can't remember. In theory it helps spool your turbo quicker as there is less back pressure on the turbine so you should feel a slight difference in overall acceleration as there is less lag. I tuned it pretty soon after this and that helped with throttle response
Yeah you definitely do loose throttle response especially if it's a downpipe with a res delete, you gotta ad a stage 2 file after the Install, make sure they recalibrate your throttle response I speak from experience
You have to get a really long extension with a swivel head connector to the socket. Feed from the bottom past the subframe if that makes sense. That's how i did it
