Hi, I have the 2006 b7 rs4 and having issues with the sound... the radio is on but not sound.. looking at this video I see that the original harness from the car are different from mine.. I have no steering control for the radio as it's the sport steering lambo steering .. how do I get it to operate?

You're a legend for making this dude, I was wondering where I was gunna run my usb/mic. Does your car have the stock iPod dock in the compartment in front of the shifter? I was thinking of running it thru there but I have no idea of how to remove it.
Did you habe any issues with the rear speaker(s) not being as loud as the front ones? Ive seen a lot of issues with aftermarket radios in the B7's not working right with the speakers.
No, I did not have that issue. The radio wire harness from Enfig fixes that low audio issue. check the description to see the link for the radio wire harness that I used.
Once you started to remove the A pillar cover I realised it was more work than I would want to do, at least by myself. I have a 2010 A4 Estate S Line, black edition, which is in immaculate condition both inside and out. Im genuinely afraid of causing any damage to the interior. Is this something a first timer could do or would it be better to go to a specialist? Great video btw.
Your Audi is a B8. The one in this video is a B7. The process might be different. Yea, you can taking it to a professional if you don't feel comfortable to take on this project. Thanks for watching!
If it's a b7 Cabriolet it I'm assuming it has the same factory wire harness connector like mine, if so you should be good. You can always remove your factory radio to confirm that before you start the project.
At the very minimum you could just get a harness that does not support the steering wheel. Bare in mind, the FM/AM won't work without an antenna adapter.
I have a problem. I connected pioneer dmh-a340dab radio to the subwoofer and the rear speakers on the back door don't work for me. a friend told me it might be that it was up to the connector I bought to connect the new radio . can you help me how to make that back speakers work again. thanks
