Thats actually very common at Kos, the plane can literally break hard and turn off where it does here OR roll to the end of the runway and turn off there...depends really on traffic behind and also if there isnt already a plane waiting to come onto the runway facing the opposite way.

When I landed there it was smooth

The runway is 2.4km long and the aircraft used 1.4km for this landing, so not "extremely short" at all, just a normal one.
