Hey the part 2 is already out okay a long time ago and to clear some misunderstanding the Shiva or mahendra is kid of the women that was held captive and bahubali who was supposed to be the king but because of his brother he couldn't okay and when everyone understand what the brother did to him it was took late the mother of the kid was held captive queen mother tried to save the kid and died as he was supposed to be the next king and bahubali was killed ordered by the queen mother due to some misunderstanding

Baahubali changed Indian cinema forever, it broke regional boundaries and created new Box office records. Baahubali series is a classic forever and a Landmark of Indian cinema. I watched Bahubali a while ago after seeing a clip from the catapult scene in the second movie. I picked it up thinking it was a comedy trash movie because of the physics and the very different style of direction, so I was really surprised by how good the movie was. While it is funny due to the extremely ridiculous physics, the story is actually pretty good and the action and special effects are great. Not to mention, the theme song is catchy. Overall, liked both the movies and they caught me off guard since I didn't expect them to be good.

i'm months late, but this the explanation for the baby grabbing hand thing. Its called Palmer grasp reflex. From an evolutionary point of view, you can compare it to baby monkeys, who also have this reflex grasp. It is a survival mechanism so that they can hold onto their mother or the tree branches high up and not fall down. Because once they fall down, they can be prey to other predators. And in humans its said to be a leftover of evolutionary reflex. It mostly lasts up to 4-6 months in newborns.

So you guys wondered when this takes place, and I had also wondered the same. So I did a little digging, but unfortunately the only real clue as to the time this takes place is the Persian visitor Kattapa duels with. If he's from the Persian empire, the most well known one at least, there were many empires that existed at one point or another in "Persia", then that would place the date of this movie's events anywhere from 650-330 BC. That's about the best I can do.
