9:00. Oh. So much simpler than the abomination I made. Spoiler: Rocket on the far left of the dust instead, make robots, robots fall right then nudge robot left until they break dust. Repeat ~10 times to clear dust very slowly. Whoops.
I think the intended solution is to make rocket face down at the third row Then make rocket fall, then ROCKET MAKE ROBOT, ROCKET IS NUDGE so rocket makes a whole row of robots facing down Then robot is move makes all robots move to dusts
6:40 oh... I actually did it without stacking text by creating a second "BABA" text and moving "BABA ROBOT BABA" chain with robots above two "is nudge" sentences. This is simpler!
19:21 this sequence makes me think that baba would really benefit from having some kind of "save point" system, where you could save certain text formations before experimenting, and then jump back to where you were once you're ready. It would cut out a lot of the repepetitive text moving and make the game a bit more fun
In that Sun Boulevard level, I'd like to think a bunch of survey robots were sent out from the rocket to inspect the planet but they all immediately fell in quicksand and were destroyed.
i love seeing how he cracks these levels like cookies, well most of them atleast, you are doing fast in the end game levels and im taking 1hr/level lmao
24:55 That level looks different than the one I just played. I'm pretty sure I had a water triangle at the entrance and fewer waters in the corridor. Edit: Yeah I definitely couldn't solve with just Baba is Move. I did use it to jump something but I had to stack Jiji like the earlier level.
Another solution for Sun Boulevard that I think would've worked -- Having one rocket move to make "robot make UFO" and another to go the same distance and then bounce back, making "bird is fall" for one frame before destroying it the next. Then just make "rocket is move" and position yourself near the dust alley.
So where are the bonus videos? I get that Balloons TD2 is out and it generates bigger traffic to the channel but I don't really vibe with that game and you said we will get some bonus videos of Baba every week. If Baba is cancelled it's okay, I'm just asking if I should hope for new episodes or should I find someone else's playthrough.
Love watching you solve these puzzles. I made it to world 3(Original) and my brain just up and left on me. EDIT: The level editor taking insane amounts of ayahuasca in his room like, "What if rocket was move...and nudge....and push....and facing text and UFO."
Is Baba is You Turing complete? I'm thinking yes, in which case at some point someone is going to make a computer in the level editor... I would do it myself, but since I already know the solutions to the game from watching this I'm not planning on getting the game.
Even if you know the solutions, there's always the level editor. It's the same reason I had Portal 2 on xbox360 before getting it on PC. Level editors add so much longevity to a game
I loved this pack of levels! (as a viewer, i don't have a pc) These levels r based on something like, experiments, some rules r set and the hypothesis, thoery and observations are made XD
Spoilers for Extra-3: There's actually a beautiful way to completely cheese a victory out of Spaceport - I made Rocket is push and move, and then the instant it was above the word "Ice", I pushed it down, causing it to go down 2 in one move, thus bypassing the "dust is cloud statement" and allowing me to push all of the statements in myself.
