I adore this duet, Peter sings with absolute male energy, while Malukah sings the same song with pure nurturing female(mother) energy. It is utterly stunning.

matt, thank you very much. Mister Hollens is from Oregon AND he is friends with Home Free, Maluka is I think California. Peter Hollens is something of a icon of a capella and head of the acapella and music of the university of Oregon. Swaheli because it was written by the composer in that language, the theme of Civilization VI is in Italian. Peter Hollens has also VERY funny videos. What is really great is "I still haven't found what I am looking for", singing with Home Free and over 300 people, all patrons of Home Free and him.

I JUST LOVE THIS!!! This is the theme song of the video game Civilization IV written by Christopher Tin. He won a Grammy for this. I have been a patreon supporter of Peter Hollens (who is in Oregon) for YEARS and discovered Maluka thru him. He is noted for doing a cappella by himself by layering his voice like 140 times. He is now collabing with lots of people. Like Home Free and Pentatonix members, and Lindsey Stirling (who has also collabed with Pentatonix a couple of times). :o) Maluka (who is in Mexico) is known for doing covers and originals of Video Game music. Peter was also in an a cappella group competing on the Sing-Off, but his group did not win.

Not only did he win the Grammy for this, it was the first Grammy ever won for a song composed for a video game.

This is a cover of a theme song created for the game Civilization 4. It was written in Swahili for the game. It won a Grammy in it's original form. He also does an amazing cover of the more recent Civilization 6 theme song you might want to check out. Also if you want to be blown away ....check out his cover of Misty Mountains with Tim Foust! Peter is a MASTER of music layering and does the work himself.
