I also think Babu has really reformed to even a much better version of himself.I would vote him 10 times more as I would earlier. I hope DJ Evolve heals and him and Baba Owino can settle their court case. This is a big issue for him but it seems he is doing a great job in his constituency. The drug taking got the better of him, but he has learned his lesson.

Reason why chang'aa is referred to as illegal is because brewers don't pay taxes. My cousin tried to distill and sell it in a legit manner but the police have made sure he doesn't operate at all, despite acquiring licenses and permits from a dozen authorities.

Babu says an increase in MPs and local leaders is an increase on employment! These "employees" will be on tax payers, from an economy stretched to its breaking point. Why not spend those funds in improving our health care system where ordinary citizens don't pay for oxygen, exorbitant deposits to be seen by a doctor, or pay school fees for less fortunate kids! 1M/every new MP can sponsor a huge demographic of kids in this country.
