Congratulations! I love how laid back you are compared to other RU-vid moms that are all about natural home births and it almost makes you feel bad for wanting an epidural and hospital birth. I had so much anxiety about getting an epidural for my 2nd baby because I felt like I was being weak but than I saw how you said you loved your experience with it and would do it again so I felt better. Thanks for being real and not like “all the other RU-vid moms” which sometimes make it feel unattainable to be like them lol if that makes sense.

My daughter (Madeline) had her 3rd baby the same day as Jane and midwife didn’t make it. She was in labor 2 hrs. Baby was born in the tub. 9lbs 15oz. 🥰

Beautiful, huge congrats new family of 6 ❤ I had my first baby in the car as we were driving into the hospital carpark 😵‍💫 the painful part of my labour lasted for about 6hours. Second baby came in 4hours and luckily we went to the hospital straight as contractions started, didn't want a repeat. Enjoy the newborn bubble x

My labor with my second daughter was 1.5 hours from first contraction until she was out. It was wild!!!!

I started having contractions 11 hours prior to my son's birth, and even thought going grocery shopping during contractions was a GREAT idea 😅 I was sent home from the hospital after 5 hours of contractions because I was only 1.5cm dilated and 80% effaced. Well, when I got back home my labor escalated into active labor over the course of only 2 hours. I lost my mucus plug on the toilet and as soon as I got in my husband's car my water broke in multiple gushes. I got to the hospital and I was FULLY DILATED after two hours of active labor. My son was crowning in the car lol. 15 minutes after getting to the hospital my son was born. Craziest labor and delivery ever for my first birth 😂 Oh and I'm pregnant again and I'm hoping I can get the epidural this time. Natural labor is no joke!

I consider quick labours to be about 2-4 hours start to finish. For example, my second baby I started induction at 9am, mild contractions in first hour that ramped up each hour, with him being born at 12:40pm (so start to finish was 3 hours and 40 minutes). My third baby I noticed some cramps just before midday, with my water breaking almost exactly at 12pm. Contractions then started hard and fast and she was born at 3:28pm (so start to finish was 3 hours and 28 minutes). By start to finish I mean from first sign labour is beginning to baby being born.

Been here since Annabel 🥺 now I’m about to have my 4th as well ! Life is so wild ! Who would have thought

I was laboring for 3 days before on the 4th day where I pushed for 2 hours to be told I had to have an emergency c-section because my hip structure would not permit me to push out a baby. So my son got stuck and had to be pushed back up for an emergency c-section. And I was induced to boot!

Congratulations, my whole labor from beginning to end were 1st 7 hours 2nd 1 hour and 3rd 2 hours . All of them started with water breaking and then followed by contractions. No epidural for any

My last baby was 1 1/2 to 2 hours. I didn’t realize I was in labor bc it was different from my first 2. I had my baby at home before my midwife made it there so my husband delivered our baby 😳😂 So we’re sitting there in the birthing tub for about 10-15 minutes before the midwife arrived wondering what to do 😂😂😂 My first baby was super long….20 hours I believe. Second baby was 3 hours, last baby was about 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Can’t imagine what a 4th would be 😂😂😂 Congratulations on delivering a beautiful, healthy baby girl!!! I love her name!! And she looks just like Scarlett to me!! All your kids look SUPER similar too though 🥰

Yay congrats!! Thats crazy you were in labor for 6 hours on your 4th! I went into labor at 11:45pm and baby was born at 2:59am lol and that was baby #2. I am scared to have another because id be one to have them in a car 🤣

First of all congratulations!!! She's beautiful!! I get the confusion. I had a fast labor and delivery with my second. 2nd baby I labored at home for 2 hours, took 30 min. to get the hospital, and I had her 30 minutes later after 1 min of pushing?The pushing part was a blur. They said to wait for a contraction but pressure was so intense I just started to push right away. I needed her to exit asap. Lol So 3 hours total from my first contraction. My first was a 8 hour labor and 4 hours of pushing. so I wasn’t expecting baby #2 to come that fast. Birth is crazy and amazing!

Welcome baby, Janie! ❤ Mine were 19 hours of labor and then 8 ending in c section and 44 ending in my second c section!

My labor was 1 hr and 15 min (from 1st contraction till she came out). 3rd baby. So, its possible 😊

So as far as quickness I personally dilate a lot before actual labor so I get it till like four or 5 cm before I actually going to active labor like I could be 5 cm for like two weeks and not be an actual labor. But with my last labor which was my third baby my water broke but it was up high so I was having super consistent contractions but they would then come and go depending on how I was sitting. When I got to the hospital I had already dilated like one more centimeter and they broke my water the rest of the way and I had her literally two hours later it was real quick.

With my 2nd, I woke up at 7:30am with contractions, after the 2nd contraction, my water broke. Baby was out by 12:35pm. To me that was pretty fast as my first was I think 14 hours from water breaking (which happened first before any contractions) til she was out.

I just had my third baby 2 months ago. I was induced with every one of them - my doctor broke my water, but I had no pitocin or meds with any. With my third, my doctor broke my water at 7am, but literally nothing happened until 11am. No pain. Nothing. Then all of a sudden like a light switch went off, around 11:15am, I got intense contractions and baby was born at 12:15. So technically I was "in labor" for a little over 5 hours, but nothing was happening until the last hour. This was the case with every one of my kids, so I'd consider them all fast labors since I only count what was technically "painful" for me. Congrats by the way! My oldest will turn 7 in January. Her and Annabelle are less than a month apart and I started watching you when you were pregnant with her :) (Also have a 4 year old ;))

Oh and also, my second born was 3 hours total. From first little cramp to being birthed! We BARELY made it to the hospital. Had to stop and get gas 🥲 Parked the car at the entrance with the flashers on, they put me in a wheel chair and RAN me to the first room, checked me, rolled me over and my body started pushing! 15 min later he was born!

6 hours is so fast! My two were 31 and 11 hours

My three labors( one sunny side up) from the first contraction to baby popping out =2-3 hours max. No epidural or any meds with the last 2. Precipitous labor is what they call it. All the pain squeeze into one long contraction is what it feels like. I barely make it to the hospital every time. The drama of it all 😂I would still have more.

Did you choose to labor on your back or did they make you due to the epidural?

OK I started having contractions at 4 AM and had my son at 6:32 AM!!!! That was only my second! They told me it was a precipitous labor.

I had my 3rd baby in the car 😅. I only labored for like an hour at home and my hospital was an hour away which is what messed us up. I had false labor multiple times that week so I just didn’t know when I actually was in real labor. I still didn’t feel like it was real when I left 😂

I had a similar experience with breastfeeding my first. My baby was latched for 6 hours straight after he was born and they brought me formula and i asked for a pump so i could pump while he was eating formula and they wouldn’t bring me one. My supply NEVER caught up. I tried my hardest but i never made over 2 Oz

Lol labor can be very fast. With my fifth I woke up at 1:30 am and my water broke then my baby was born at 2:50 am. Barely made it to hospital had to call ambulance because I was literally on ground screaming I could tell baby was coming then 😅

Congrats🎉 that was my dream delivery. Unfortunately i will never have that after 3 cesareans.
