My daughter is the one with the brown sweater. She’s going to be eleven this year. She still loves watching herself in this video and of course she has no Memory of it lol
This is fun to watch. I'm no baby anymore, but I like to think back on those times. I started speaking full sentences when I was 1.5 y/o but I would always stutter because I wanted to express so much more than I could.
blessed are those who have their kids who are growing perfect developmentally...may God remove autism and other such developmentally delayed issues from the world.
interesting points ,if anyone else wants to learn about ways to encourage your toddler to talk try talk fixer formula (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now ) ? Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my friend got cool success with it.
Not certain about the points made but ,if anyone else wants to uncover encourage toddler to talk try Talk Fixer Formula (do a search on google ) ? Ive heard some awesome things about it and my m8 got amazing success with it.
This comment makes very little sense. If anything this video should have 0 views. Most of the people seeing this are probably checking to see if their child has developmental issues. No one ever googles "What would my kid look like if they had autism and were doomed to social stigma and unhappiness for the rest of their life" do they, professor?
This literally gives me anxiety. My child is 14 months old, not even a single word so far. I started talking almost at 3. We were a bilingual house . I suppose same happens to my child who lives in a bilingual house as well. Every child is different, don’t fall down that trap
My child is 14 months old and doesn’t say a single word. He doesn’t do any of what was said on this video. Doesn’t point at things or follow along with books. I’m freaking out 😥
My 14 .month old is talking in baby language.nothing clear yet and points at things sometimes. He doesn't eat anything. Food he hates. I'm so stressed out.
He could just be teething, my nephew who is 14 months won't eat much when his teeth hurt. If he is pulling on his ears or putting his hands in his mouth then its probably just a tooth coming in and you shouldn't worry too much. If not then just keep trying, babies have preferences like everyobody else and they change their minds easily
It’s ok my son drunk a lot of milk up until 2 and he liked the little baby food pouches sometimes. He’s now 3 eats everything. He also didn’t speak until 18 months.even though he’s doing fine I’m still a worrier.
Does he have clear words he uses often? My baby is 16 months old and has about 8 words he uses regularly, they all are people. Try to repeat words, a good 5 that you want him to get custom to saying. If you want him to speak two languages, speak one language at home and then put his music or videos in another language. I also learned that putting a lot of videos, of music and also coco melon is really good for their cognitive learning. Also for the food part, some kids are just like that. I see when my baby doesn’t want to eat anything, I first eat it and then give to his father. Babies love to imitate others, and he always ends up eating it. Don’t worry every kid develops at a different pace, these are just some things to try applying to your child that I saw worked. You think they will never talk, but one day they just start repeating words like “Mami” because they hear that word a lot. Just keep practicing and make it fun.
For the new moms out there, remember that a mother’s joy begins when new life is stirring inside; when a tiny heartbeat is heard for the first time, and a playful kick reminds her that she is never alone 💗
My baby is 1 year and 5 months old. She does not use words. She hasn’t learned any words yet. We live in a bilingual household. Spanish is mainly spoken I’m the only one that will speak to her in English. On the other hand she’ll see my dad put on glasses and she puts them on his head, the remote to turn on the tv, buttons to get water from the machine, she’ll lock her baby gate when I’m coming so I don’t get into her play room she copies what we do. Why isn’t she learning words. Is this normal are there other parents out there am I being too quick to worry? She started walking at around 1 yr 3 months but we also spoil her and help her with everything. I’m worried is she just a late bloomer. She’s always talking but its baby talk she doesn’t have any stims or anything like that. I’m just so worried but I’ve always been very worried for her as she’s my first and only.
18 months here. Similar situation. He is smart but still not talking. I know He understands alot but still no talking. Maybe late bloomers like you said. I'm not going to rush him. I think one day they will just start talking when they're ready 😎
Ponyboy Curtis THANK YOU I’m such a worry wort she makes eye contact and laughs at us not too much but she doesn’t seem aloof or in her own world she’s just literally ignoring us lol I’ve calm down it’s just having a child has awaken my inner most fears I had a wonderful childhood but chose to live a horrible life up until I had her and I’m so scared that will affect her
I'm in the same situation. My son is also 1yrs old and 5 months & I worry too if my son should be talking already but every baby is different and even though he don't actually say words I know he understands and is smart. He picks things up when I tell him to. He listens to what I say most of the time. He also pretends like he knows how to use the remote lol we speak to him in Spanish and English and he understands what we're telling him in both languages. He baby talks alot but doesn't actually say words. I feel like he'll learn soon enough tho. I know he wants to use actual words because he baby talks alot.
My son is 12 months and he is not listening to us he is not responding we are very worried about him, what do we do? Is any here to take out of us from this situation please! I dont believe on it that he is deaf he would not be
He could have an old ear infection...get ears check out first...ask for a referral to a specialist of your concerns... Helped me... God Bless Parents🙏... From.a Parent from Brooklyn N.Y.😊 God Bless You All🙏💛😊🙏
do I need to worry for my nephew? he's 1 yr 8 months and he's still babbling without any actual words? He's pedia doctor recommended to see a specialist for development?
foreign Cee so it doesn’t we speak to my child in Spanish mainly and I’m the only one that speaks to her in English. She hasn’t said any words yet she doesn’t point she just turned 1 year and 5 months. Is this normal should I be worried?
Kimmy Khaira see in my household spanish is only spoken my husband and parents and extended family do not speak English. I’m the only one in the household or immediate life that will speak to her in English. She’s still very young just turned 1 yr 5 mo she doesn’t point or answer to her name but for example let’s say she’s getting into something she’s not supposed to that’s when she’ll answer to her name she dances to songs and recognizes her fav shows but she just does baby talk bababa dadada tatata she’ll sometimes try to copy what I say but rarely. I’ve gone crazy comparing her to every child her age and it’s making me go insane. Why do they do this and she doesn’t. She’s very smart though she’ll try to put glasses on your face she changes the channel with the remote she unlocks the baby gate knows how to get water from the fridge by clicking a button she copies everything we do she opens books and pretends to read and colors a lot. Thank for answering my question I think we are confusing her and that’s the issue. I’m still going to speak English to her because I want her to know it before she goes into school
Thorazine Farms Remembers No tv no screen ! Until she’s 3 minimum... that’s maybe the problem... good luck 👍🏼 find those : focus, stimulation, attention, interaction, awakening and awareness
@@anacarolinareyes8213 it doesn't hurt to have an expert doctors opinion . My kid is bilingual and has been pointing since he was i think 11-12 months. I think it's more - the kid should be engaging you and directing you to something they want
Clarissa Martinez every kid is different. Mine starting attempting to walk at 9ish months, my friends’ started at 12ish months and the other started 14ish.
@@sabatinadeniese5554 early intervention is key. I dont think something is necessarily wrong but it could warrant investigation. Also not speaking until age 5 there was something wrong there and hopefully their parents investigated it. That's a school aged child.
Now my baby girl is 2 years old.from 13 monts she started to walking and same times talking as well, from 17/ 18 months she started clear communication and knowing colour name, now she know about shape, colour, alphabets, trying to tell story, singing rhymes and songs,I am happy for her but she is so much arrogent what can I do ?pls suggest me
@@neelampaudel4751 Ohh, don't worry too much. If she is a little too energetic then be sure to give her time to run around or things to do with her hands helps too! My nephew who is 15 months is very intelligent and energetic too but at times a lot to handle. Sometimes just going on a walk or having him walk up and down the stairs will help
Can a lip tie stop kids talking? My son doesn't have and words he's 1 and a half he just says ah ah or ba ba ba or growls playfully and he could a lip tie? Autism also runs in my family should I be concerned
My 2year old 2mos baby girl could not pronounce clearly her words. I am worried since she cant speak at least 2 words... although she knows how to communicate, but she really could bot speak 2 syllables. And i am worried...
Dear god, My son is two and not talking yet. Plus his not showing any signs of wanting to learn and talk. My son is not learning and saying numbers and letters. Lord please help my son to be come more intelligent and smart. Lord help me start talking please. I feel like there is something demonic hold me and my son. I rebuke the devil in the name of Jesus. The devil is a liar. I want the devil to go away so I can teach my son how to read and write. Right now the devil is holding me back and taking my energy so I am not able to teach my son how to speak. Lord my prayer is urgent please answer my prayer amen
Sometimes I really think it's just a behavior, if the child understands what everyone else is saying then it should be ok. Could have to do with being shy. I know as an adult I get tongue tied around ppl.
@Cece Ruben Prewalking is not walking, it's being able to shift weight between feet. And the original commenter never even mentioned whether their child can stand on their own or not.
My son just turned 18 months old today. At the daycare he won't say much but at home he is trying to speak. He says mama, dad, hello, eye and five... his classmates can say the colours etc. I'm concerned when I see how much the children are communicating in your video. But does it cause a delay in speech growing up in a bilingual home? My wife speaks in Chinese and I speak in English. He meets all the other milestones and he is very bright. He picks up how to do things etc and he is always observing everything. Only his speech concerns me.
Lol my son is almost 1 and the first time I saw him pointing it was at the cat 😂 Cuz with my son I'll point at him, say his name, then switch to a "come here" hand gesture and that's EXACTLY what he did with the cat cuz he wanted to pet him 😂😂
Phonotical there’s nothing wrong with W sitting if the child is comfortable. I’m 22 and I still do it at times. Do some research before saying something smart.
@@marcelaabade2558 I have, as have medical professionals and health care workers, doctors and scientists, the words, hip displasia, did not come out of thin air.
Hi Mam I have 1 and half year old boy but he did not speak . Sometimes he told me dad that's only how can improve my baby language plz give me one advice
swathi vinoop my son is also 1 and a half and not speaking yet. I have been reading to him and pointing at things and telling him what they are. It seems to be helping but I think no matter what they talk when they are ready.
Tony Richards mine is 2.5 and haven’t speak a word yet . No pointing, or respond to name,. He can solve alphabet puzzle and organize number to 20. Is watching too much tv the problem
Hi now my baby is good with walking from 14eeeks. But she is not hungry and eating solid foods.what to do for making the child hungry. Anybody suggest me
At 14 weeks babies can't swallow normal food yet. You should wait until they are at least 4-6 months old before trying other foods because they have a tongue thrust reflex that won't allow them to eat solids. Your baby will tell you when they are ready, when they can sit up on their own and when they stop pushing food out of their mouth with their tongue then you can start on baby foods and when they are willing to chew you can add other things as well. Though their diet should still be mostly milk at that point as you slowly ween them and start on regular foods
No go to a doctor not a mosque if you want your child to progress it is absolutely not normal that they can’t sit up and you’re going to cause more harm by delaying intervention
hey ,if anyone else wants to uncover best toddler parenting books try Loctavan Teaching Toddler Strategy (just google it ) ? Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my work buddy got excellent success with it.
The babies are so cute !!! My baby is a week away from being two months . And she’s very vocal ! She love to babble. So I was curious when do babies develop learning skills . I learned a lot
This is just superb, I've been looking for "reading rockets" for a while now, and I think this has helped. You ever tried - Miyohn Keybigail Idea - (search on google )? It is an awesome one of a kind product for learning how to teach your child to read minus the normal expense. Ive heard some unbelievable things about it and my colleague got excellent success with it.

My granddaughter is 15 months and she talks in sentences and helps put her toys away and asks to help put groceries away and much more. I don't remember my kids ever doing that kind of stuff at 15 months old. Its a little unnerving some times.
My daughter is 1 year 4 months and she’s doing all that’s stated there, she learnt everything fast and she’s getting smarter day by day. 🥰 I’m a very proud mom 😊
This was helpful for me. I am a Mom to a baby boy who just turned one year old on 28th of May, 2021. I like the fact that my son can babble a lot. I am keen to know by 1 year age how many words should he be speaking? He is crawling well now and walks with support, for instance, by holding a table, etc. Also, I want to know how much and what kind of foods should I be giving him per day. Thanks to anyone who can help me out!
My munchkin had such an awkward in between phase of crawling. That 😅 I'm like 🤔she's just really scooting splits everywhere. & Sometimes, part "walk" & I don't imagine that's the easier way. & Even tho she's mastered crawling now, now she wants to stand on her feet while also making steps w/ both her hands & feet. She's good at standing. She will only tolerate being taught how to walk for so long.
I’ve got question maybe someone reading this can share their opinion as me and my partner disagree . Our three year old toddler has always had a keen interest in numbers and letters maths and now spelling, whilst watching RU-vid kids some months ago watching his favourite abc videos he stumbled across some Arabic children videos showing Arabic alphabet songs words etc. long story short in these few months he has now learnt the whole Arabic alphabet, songs and some words, he writes them down and sings the songs to himself sometimes when he’s playing. I must add me and my partner don’t speak the language or understand it at all . My partner has now deleted these videos from the search history because she has concerns about our child learning a language we don’t understand, I’m not sure if we doing the right thing as I feel we have now robbed him of a interest he chose for himself. I would like to hear your thoughts please. Thanks in advance.
At 24 months I noticed that a child is at its prime in all around engagement, what happens when the parent never teachers their child that they will not always want to engage with them? I feel like I learned that the hard way, with my dad being at work and not putting on a smile when he saw me after I turned 13 I took it hard. For about a year I thought my dad didn’t love me because he didn’t come to me for a hug or didn’t ask me how my day was, until I realized that he was working all day and was tired. I’m 18 now and going to college and I have a pretty good outlook on what my purpose is and how I could be a better servant and a loving, son, grandson, brother, cousin, uncle, nephew and friend.
Katie Anderson that's so great you are doing your own research and broadening your knowledge even before going into your field! I have a background in ECE and infant toddler education. It's very rewarding :)
