He shares what it was like to be in the courtroom during his trial and makes the argument that he spent the funds in a sincere manner, primarily for his company. He later indicates that his spending spree could also be attributed to the devastation that the COVID pandemic left behind because his loved ones needed to survive and since he had the means to help them--he did.
