Just a quick one, what’s the humidity % in your centrallian and western bluey enclosures. So lucky to have 6 chunky healthy bubs so close to Christmas. Loving the vids and keep up the good work
Bob Da builder hey mate I like to keep it as low as I can for the majority of the time it usually sits anywhere from 20-50% as long as the substrate is dry I’m usually happy with it
How low does the temperature need to be in order to start brumation? What temperature is too cold for them that could harm them? I am struggling with brumating my Alpine in Europe
Do you use those halogens for the adults as well? I just got a 2 month old and I'm a bit worried my current heat lamp might be blasting it with too much uvb
I really need to know that if you want to keep a blotchy blue outside but don’t have the space for a massive pit would a rabbit hutch be a good replacement enclosure? Please reply as I live in the state were blotchy blue tongues are from so I want to try keep them outside Thx
For anyone who can answer this Can I keep like candles going or like them essential oils going when I have reptiles or would it mess up there breathing and will the smells be too strong for them?
Hi Thx for the video Mine month old eastern hides a lot & gets scared every time I walk past it. You did answer my question to why it does this, thank you but how long will it be doing dis exactly? 3months? Jus want an idea of when it’s behaviour will change. Overall pretty easy pet to have
Coop's Reptiles aww ok thank you. I’ll try feeding him (it) with a spoon. One time I fed him dog food on my finger & when I tried to grab him out of its enclosure he bit me 🥺
Some take longer then others just work with them and overtime they'll be fine! better to not be afraid and take bites now then when they are fully grown (ouch!)
Hi im going to have outdoor enclosures for my 4 easterns cause id like them to have natural sunlight. Where i live ,NSW has easterns so they will be fine outside suring whole winter? What im worried is that i read about brumation and ppl set temp around 15 to 18 degree celcius. However actual temp outside n winter is like 3 to5 degree during night. Isnt it too risky? Am i worry too much?
@@coopsreptiles2588 thanks alot coop. I actually have one more question about breeding. Do sometimes blueys not mate even if after brumation? I have a pair been on brumation for 4 weeks but seems like males not ready. Temp is back to normal already but its only Jun so can they be on brumation again after few weeks ? Really not easy to find infos about brumation and breeding.
