FILM DESCRIPTION:
J.C. Wiatt (Diane Keaton) is a New York City businesswoman who is married to her job and has a relationship with Steven (Harold Ramis), a successful investment broker. J.C.'s life takes an unexpected turn when a relative suddenly dies and makes her the caretaker of a baby girl. Soon, the baby's arrival causes J.C. to lose first Steven, and then her job. She moves to Vermont and embarks on a series of life-changing events. But when offered the opportunity, will she return to her corporate ways?

I loved this movie, especially the part where she's gonna burn her house down.. It's hilarious, and it made me fall in love with Diane Keaton. It was the perfect chick flick cause it has a great story that any guy can watch, enjoy and not complain about and it has the perfect amount of Romance. It's not gushing with it, but it's there and becomes a huge factor in her life going forward finally accepting that she's now a real mother.

I would have been so excited to adopt a child if one of my cousins passed away. Cause I just love kids so much. I really want to be a father. With my girlfriend one day have children of our own

That baby is amazing, when they pulled up at their new house about an hour in, she had somehow undone her own seatbelt. I am hoping that she DID have a seatbelt ON :P

Gary. When Kris or Michelle (babies) drove up, THEY WEREN'T IN THE CAR but for 3 min. They weren't tied in due to Diane taking her out so quickly. It's film magic. I was also in it. Dark hair up, bangs, guy has his arm around me getting on the escalator at airport as Diane first sees the baby. My jacket is gray. I used to dye my hair dark. Now its fluffy white/blonde without bleach.

I’m a millennial who grew up with a mom who introduced me to this movie, and in turn later realized I didn’t want kids myself (not because of this movie, but because I saw what she went through as a single mom and didn’t want it for myself).
