My baby was born 26 weeks 3 days. She is now a month old, born March 18th. She's a gift! She came here breathing on her own, eyes open, arms and legs swinging. She has been taking beast milk since 2nd day of life. Her progression has been nothing short of a miracle! She is strong, determined and a fighter! She really think she is a big girl. I am so grateful! I was terrified when I went in to labor, I am thankful they saved my baby, she is my world!

Babies are such a blessing and the preemies who survive are true miracles. I am almost 24 weeks pregnant with my 2nd daughter. My first came full term but I'm not going to just assume this one will too. Every week that goes by I thank God for it. So far my pregnancy is going great and the baby is healthy and active. She's punching and kicking up a storm as I type this. I've heard that the survival rate is 95-100% at 27 weeks and older.
I’m 36wks Alhamdurillah and everything is going well baby is a strong boy. I pray everyday 5 times a day and keep god in my mind and ask for protection for my lil baby boy. 4 wks to go hope the birth is easy it’s my first🙏🏼
Parveen Khanum how do they know their baby is a boy? You can get a genetic blood test done to find out, ask your doctor about it. Or the easier way is to have an ultrasound. You are far along enough to be able to see if it is a boy or girl by ultrasound. Again, ask your doctor for one. If they can’t then find a clinic that will preform an ultrasound.
I’m 26 weeks and was going into pre term labor with my son 2 days ago thank goodness they were able to stop it 😭😭 god bless this baby and these parents they are so strong
Ash Esquivel are you still pregnant? I’m currently 22 weeks and 4 days I preterm labor but I’m also dilated :/ they’re doing everything they can to stop it also. Were you dilated at all?
My granddaughter was born 15 weeks early. Weighed 1lb 12 ounces but went down to 1lb 6 ounces. Had two bleeds on the brain and had 20 cm of bowel removed. She has lung disease and needs inhalers, she also wears hearing aids. She is now 11 and going to high school this year. She has even picked out what job she wants. A coder. What ever that is. She’s happy and mostly healthy. What I’m saying is, it doesn’t matter where you start, it’s where you finish. My granddaughter proves that.
I’m 25 weeks today with my baby girl alhamdulliah I feel truly blessed and pray allah protects her and I hope she comes full term healthy and with no complications inshallah 💕🤲🏼

My sister just delivered a baby today weighted around 1 pound 26 months premature in Penn state. I am praying for her and beloved baby girl. I am kind of scared and shocked for both of them. My father told me that via call as I am living in Chicago, in Coronavirus days, Its difficult to even meet anyone, as they don’t give permission, although I am expecting better and better.
