I use to teach textiles. I’m only five mins in and had to comment. You, young lady, is an awesome teacher. I was so determined to make plush booties, you saved me a trip. Your instructions made me pull out some yarn and follow along in the weee hours of the night. 😂. I’m sure baby & mom will be pleased. TY. 🫂
I just made the booties but they seem so big. I used a 3.mm hook for a 3-6 months but they look bigger. I used size 3 light baby yarn bernat softee baby. This is the first time my using this pattern. 🧐 I made the hat and the sweater, turned out beautifully, they just seem big for me. Thank you for your tutorials awesome job Sarah ☺️
I had the same problem, this is my first time trying to make these. I didn't have 3 weight yarn so that probably didn't help. I followed this video which is supposed to be for a 0-3 mo baby mine looks like it would fit baby Bigfoot. Lol
I must agree with your instructions. They are ever so very clear and even I managed to do them ever so well. Also I made a set for my aunt's first grandson. But I must say, when she saw it, she could not understand how the stat stitch was made! She kept on thinking she imagined it hand made, she found it very hard to believe I made it! I was her first time seeing one hand made, she also said she had never seen a star stitch before, the star stitch made her faint!!
I followed so many videos on booties but with no end result so much so , I was going to give up ,until I found yours. The way you count stitches every time made it so easy to follow. Thank you, Thank you so much..Keep up your good work ..xx
I have never made comments on tutorials. This tutorial was amazing and easy to understand. not ever once did i have to play back. i got it the first time.thank you for teaching me.
Thank you so much!! I have learnt how to crochet!! I never knew how to do it before & watching your RU-vid channel I have. Your patterns are so easy to follow, you describe it so well and make it easy for people to learn by watching you. thank you so much ⚘⚘ I have made some beautiful things for my new baby grandson 😊🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
OMG I have always wanted to make baby booties but was never able to cause I didn't have a pattern. This pattern is so easy, I could almost make them with my eyes closed. Where have you been all my life. Thank you for your video.
I Love this tutorial and the way you explain everything step by step and tell how many stitches per row, that is very helpful to me that way I know I have the right amount needed. You explain it so well. Thank you
I love your video, and thank you so much for sharing. I am having a bit of trouble figuring out how to work correctly over the place where you cut the thread and tied it off for the first part of the shoe/soul. I feel so stupid, but want to make these beautiful baby shoes for unwed mothers, and other babies/small children who go without. I just want to make them all feel loved and important.
Loved this tutorial! So easy to follow and the results were fantastic. May I ask though where do you get the plastic form that you put inside the booties to hold it's shape? Thank you
Hi. I hope you are still answering questions to this video. I really like your video. I've tried 2 other videos from other people that are great but I keep making mistakes. Question is this: When I do the 7 or 8 double crochet to make the turn around on any baby booties, the draw string that tightens the hole gets stuck and I can't get the hole smaller. What do I do and how do I avoid that? Thanks. P.S. I've been a beginner for years making just scarves and now am finally (at age 61) branching out to baby slippers and hats. Having my first grandchild and desperate to make these slippers. My niece by marriage is also having a baby but I have more time. This baby is due any day now - March 8, 2022.
I've just made these and the hat and jacket, will you be doing the matching mittens? Your videos are clear and great for a beginner wanting to learn more. Thank you
Thank you so much for your very clear Easy to follow instructions 😃, I have struggled so much with making baby booties/shoes. Thank you so much I have just made my first booty God Bless you my dear 💜❤️💋
When you are doing row 9 doing front and back post half double crochet - do you go round both stitches when you get to the stitch reduction (do you treat it as one stitch and do a back or front post round the whole thing?)
I am currently making and I find that it looks too big. I am using a 4mm hook but it still looks big. I think the ch 10 + the ch3 is a lot. I think I will go up to ch 7
Good beginner instructions for baby booties, but I did not know how to do a front and back post half double crochet and you went through it so quickly, it was hard for me to follow. I did well with your instructions up to then. Please slow down on some of the harder stitches.
Do you have a tutorial video for sizes 6-9 mos,and 9-12 months I have been crocheting since I was 7yrs old. I need to make them for the babies at my church.
I’m sorry. I thought you meant for this particular design. Here’s the link to baby booties in my channel that are for these sizes or can be made smaller or bigger. ru-vid.com/group/PLiGQpEa3IKJ9aUxlTFojMxRRAGP4RB5o2
Thank you for sharing this beautiful pattern, the little bootees are really nice and I’m going to make them in pink and white for my niece who is expecting a girl in May. Thank you so much
I've made the cardigan, it's very easy to follow , I absolutely love the pattern cant wait to do the pants, hat and booties. Any chance you could do the pattern for a baby bonnet?

De nada amiga. Y para que se te haga más fácil encontrar los solo presiona la ovejita que está al lado del nombre de mi canal y te llevará donde están todos mis vídeos. Los primeros son los más recientes. Espero que te ayude 🤗😊
I don't know what I am doing wrong 🥲. In row 7 I do not get 13 single crochets after the front is done. I am always left with 14. I count my stitches in every row, I never include my 3 chains at the start of a row and I follow your video at every step. Why is this happening to me when everyone else can do it???? I've went right back to the start 3 times now and I always have to rip it out at row 7. 😭
An easy fix would be to do a dc decrease before ending this row if you want to just continue. Or just continue and leave that extra stitch for the front. Good luck 👍
Hi sorry I didn’t see your other reply. For 6-9 m I would use a 4.5mm hook with #4 yarn. If you use 5mm with #3 yarn your stitches are going to be too open and lacy. I hope this helps 😀
Hi It is very nice, instead of 10 chains if we take 20 chains how many rows we should put to make perfect boots like you please reply and your instructions are very clear
