Please be aware that all babies are different and develop at their own pace, my grandson was 6 weeks premature and he is now at a corrected age of 8 months and has just started commando crawling, so funny to watch ❤️
Mine is 29 weeks and has just learned to push himself into a sitting position. I'm a bit worried about this. We've been practicing sitting on sort surfaces but he still flops over every few minutes. Could hurt himself if hes sitting near something. Even a plastic toy would hurt if he hit it face-first. Must put in more practice!
How long will a baby do stage 4?? My baby is 5 and a half months and rocking back and forth rn... should I expect her to crawl soon or is it a long way off??
I don’t think it will be long. As soon as all of mine got to the stage of rocking back and forth it wasn’t long until they actually crawled. All babies are different though 😊
So by the weeks youve provided, i can expect my baby boy to start crawling about 5 weeks after he bobs and pushup etc? Hes almost 6 months old but has been sitting in a crawling position (hands and knees) and maneuvering round in circles quite quickly. He also scoots backwards and does the weird planking push up thing.
Chloe Rintoule thanks for you comment. All babies are different and will crawl when they are ready. This video was based on my 1st born. My second son done the stage of push-up and army crawl for a lot longer. As he was able to get around without “proper” crawling. 😊
My son is almost 1 year old and has only just graduated from the commando to “proper crawling”. If I try and compare him to other babies I make myself sick with anxiety and that is no good for myself or my son. I’m really trying to go with the flow, but as always, if you’re concerned, reach out to your health care professional. It’s no good to run yourself into the ground with questions and worries. If there is something wrong, then they can give you the people and the tools to help make things better.
@@chloerintoule1785 it’s funny how messages from the past resound with people in the now. I’m glad your guy is learning sign. I work with its ASD kids and they are some of my favourite kids.
