This is such a great idea!!! My niece used to come spend the night at my house almost every weekend from the time she was 4 years old and she always showed up with a little bag with her PJ's and a change of clothes in it. One of these would have been perfect for her. She is turning 16 on Dec 1st... time sure flies!
Oh my I will be giving this a try as I have great granddaughter twins and I have not seen anything as cute as this in years(even when my daughter had one for her bed in the 70’s hers was a pillow! Thank you so much it will be a hit in our house this Christmas 🤶🏻 love your tutorials I have never had so much fun trying all your techniques you have made my life so much easier(wool wise lol) 🇨🇦
Oh, I just love this! I’m definitely going to do this for my market craft booth! Thank you, you are a wonderful teacher! I will also bring subscribers your way! Love your channel!
I thought of and then implemented a different sewing of the flat panels with head, it works and looks wonderful. instead of gathering the head tops like you instructed, I sewed the bottoms closed like you did and then I sewed both flat panels above and below the pull cords first then pulled the drawstrings for the head to stuff it. I hope you try it. 💖💖🙏🙏💖💖
I love this! You are such a great teacher. I remember the pj bags from when I was a child. I never had one but always wanted one. Now my grand daughter is getting one for Christmas!!
I’m just discovering your videos and love this guy! If I only have a 48 peg machine could I make a panel of 22 stitches and sew up the seam to make a tube to make the arms?
You could totally make it on a loom. Show me in my FB group when your done. My group is for knitters and crocheters. Loom is knitting. 🥰 facebook.com/groups/899664008062522/?ref=share_group_link&exp=9594
I made 2 of these. 1 larger one extra long and one slightly smaller for my neighbors boy and girl. Had my daughter make the passifer cause I can't do that stuff. Thank you😊
I had to start over 10 times because stitches kept dropping off the pins. Finally, I passed round 25 where the cinch strand is knitted in. Then, I cranked and cranked until my arms felt disjointed, reached round 80 and learned the yarn you were using was variegated! Aargh. Now I have to unravel 50 rows of off white and incorporate colors. If this wasn't so adorable, I would sell my machines and cartons of new yarn on Craig's List! I can't believe I didn't hear you mention you were changing colors the first four times I watched the tutorial. Aargh. 😩
I would totally buy some of those crochet pacifiers, i can't crochet for the life of me. I have tried for about a year to learn how to crochet and never could get it. lol
This is so cute. You pop on my You Tube.. I have 48 Sentro and order the 22 so I can make it. I do have two knitting machines and finally set it up. Definitely going to make it. Just subscribe
Love all of your videos you should have pattern for us to to purchase of all your amazing work that would be totally awesome to where they're a digital download
This was so cute! I only have the Sentro 48 and you’ve mentioned that the arms can be made using them. How do you go about doing this? Also, is there a way to just put a mouth instead of making the soother? Thank you so much!!!
You can be creative with a mouth. You don’t have to have a soothed. You would make a flat panel over 22 needles for the arms. Same amount of rows as I do. Sean it up the sides to make a 22 needle tube and then do as I do. 🥰
I am working on one right now. As I mattress stich one piece on the other one, I thought what about 24 rows of head yarn, 110 rows of body yarn, 24 rows of head yarn, and long tail cast off. Put it together like a beanie. At the bottom of it, maybe some crochet for the drawstring / ribbon. Is that possible
Hellooo thank you for your beautiful videos. Can you tell us the size of this project please. Thank you 🥰 i had 1 tiny problem though the 1 row below the head was disappearing when i pull the strings i might do 2 rows next time 😊
I do not have any on hand right now so I can’t measure it for you. Sorry. Not sure what you mean by one row disappearing but two rows would work as well. 😍
Giving this adorable project another shot - lost count how may times I've tried! She!ley, you say knit 24 rounds of head color, then one round to cinch later, followed by 55 rounds of the first color stripe? I counted the rounds in the stripes and it looks like about 7 each color. Could you enlighten me please?
It is self striping yarn. Dont count the rows of each colour. Just do the number of rounds I suggest. Please indicate that you read this as I will delete it so my row counts aren’t posted.
@@koalaknitsandknacksaddicrochet it does make more room. I just love your patterns. Have done many. My friends just love the sleepy time bears. Thanks for great patterns..
That is probably the reason. If you used a lighter weight yarn then that could also be a reason. I rarely use tension on my knitting. Just very lightly let it slip through my fingers or use the largest tension hole on the tensioner.
You could do maybe 7 or 8 rows on the 22 needle machine then synch both ends and bring the centers together for a flat circle. You may have to do a couple to figure out how many rows you need.
Awesome! I have RU-vid and RU-vid studio. I need the later for my channel. Sometimes the comments are going there and I don’t get those notifications on RU-vid. Ugh!
That’s what I do for most of my projects. Thank you for the great suggestion! 🥰 I will remove these comments in a day or so cause I don’t like my row counts posted. ❤️
So sorry I did not know that. Anyway, danke schön for all these amazing videos. You are a wonderful person and I am looking forward to see more. I did finish one sleepy pj baby and have 2 more to go. Tschüss
No there is not. You’ll have to write it out as you watch or go down into the transcript under the video. It doesn’t take long to write out as you folllow along. 🥰
I really can’t determine that for you. I am in Canada and from one area of the country to the next or even within the province it would vary depending where your selling.
I have not made it on a loom so I can’t tell you. Just choose a bigger loom and a smaller. The machines I use are 46 and 22 needles. The gauge may be different but you can try. Just follow the video for rows.
