3:00 when Bats says "Tequila" on time with the music, that means that he's been playing the song in his head when he first heard the music (right before this clip). He's got the songs in his head for real
Cool couple's trick, but it could actually be a hint of Darling being not as professional as him. Like, in the scene where she dies she is in the open, while Buddy knows better and hides. So it could be a sweet moment here, but it could also be foreshadowing
Oscar noms just came out. Baby Driver just got nominated for best editing, sound mixing and sound editing. Although Edgar Wright didn't get nominated -_-
Jaden McClellan Won’t get disagreement from me there. Just thought the line was hilarious because of how remedial it seems coming from such a character. Which makes it perfect.
In any other action movie, Bats would’ve been correct in his deduction that the dealers were undercover cops. But in this movie, the revelation that they were in fact dirty cops helps to highlight Bats’ insanity. He figured out they were cops, but never once stopped to think they may just be on Doc’s payroll. Too quick to violence and it becomes his undoing in the end.
If doc had undercover cops under his payroll then he would've specified it. So basically what bats did is perfectly normal for criminals since they don't want to be caught in a sting operation
@@Crazdor Good man They weren't on edge for nothing after all Having to stay the night at the hideout jst to make sure the start of a heist goes off well .. Wonder what Payday 3 is gonna b like lol
doc literally said theres eyes everywhere, bats was right to be suspicious of cops selling him weapons, on top of the fact that doc didn't actually tell them they were his dirty cops
I have tinnitus and thanks to this movie i found out listening to music really helps. Tinnitus used to drive me insane, i couldn’t sleep, concentrate in school or even have quiet conversations. But as long as i have my earphones in i’m alright mostly, but the music has to be up pretty loud so i can’t hear people talking sometimes, which is why i’ve been recently trying to learn to read lips, but it’s more difficult than i thought it would be. I also noticed at one point in the movie, Baby holds his pulse after his ipod gets destroyed by Buddy. I tried this and it only works if i really press hard against my jugular vein in my neck, otherwise it doesn’t really do anything. But everyone has different tinnitus, so it could work for others and not me.
For sleeping put the radio BETWEEN stations to get a bizzy sound. Your brain will concentrate on it and you will fall asleep. Worked for me. Get a relaxation take too. They work as well.
Dimitrios Corvinos my tinnitus is weird sometimes it’s the normal beep but then most of the time it’s like a blob blob sound for me but only when someone’s speaking or when I hear anything really
I hope you see this. But put your palms on your ears and apply pressure like something loud is about to happen. Then drum your fingers along the back of your head like an impatient person would do on a desk. Do that for about 1 minute. Ive seen so many people say how this method was a godsend for them.
Everything about this scene is very synchronise with the music, the gunshots, the granate, the car starting, the car brakes, the explosion. Brilliant editing right there
[Guy tries to escape] - [Decides to push his way through the killers that weren't aware he was even there rather than hiding, playing dead, or even grabbing the many weapons now lying around for a surprise attack]
It is really amazing how each and every single beat of the music just blends so seamlessly in with each and every single gun shot fired. Brilliant, absolutely Genius.
Not just the guns, the car door open, Bats opens up the grenade, the grenade lands on the car, the car starting, and the explosion, everything about this scene synced perfectly with the music. The details here is awesome
ItsOracle watch it and listen with volume up. Tequila is playing in the background and the gunshots follow the beat. Even at the end of the fight Jamie Foxx says ‘Tequila’ on cue
Not just the guns, the car door open, Bats opens up the grenade, the grenade lands on the car, the car starting, and the explosion, everything about this scene synced perfectly with the music. The details here is awesome
Imagine showing this to a blind person. One moment he listens to a man describe a variety of pork chops and sausages with utmost passion and next thing he knows, a shootout breaks out from nowhere.
Something I don't see anyone else pointing out is that 1:45 Bats pretends to puff on a cigarette and even exhale it, but I like how at 1:52 he goes as far as to even pretend to put it out, guess he really is batshit crazy 🤣
I love how in this movie, the person in control is the one who's most aware of the music. When doc has baby under his thumb, the elevator moves when his finger does. When the guns go off, the only one following the song is bats.
I agree someone played an instrument like that in school but he told me not to go that day. Im guessing he was pretty good at it cuz I didn't see him thr next day along with a few of my girl classmates.
I’m not seeing anyone mention how amazing and hard it was that they drove up to the other car, and then Bats throws the grenade perfectly into the cup holder. SO GOOD!
Everytime I watch an Edgar Wright movie I wonder why this man has never been nominated for a best director oscar. I mean, what else do you have to bring to the table? The man is flawless.
The gunfire and impact sounds sync up so well with the music how and why did they do that this this man Edgar wright is smarter than Einstein someone needs to give this man a freaking what is it Oscar Emmy I don't even know just utter brilliance
Unfortunately they can't cuz they already have their own formula and Wright's style wouldn't have fit to those movies. And that's unfortunate. People say MCU always gave creative freedom to the filmmakers, hello what happened to Edgar Wright for Ant Man?
@@nathanieldiaz5254 uh no, Edgar Wright is always on time, he was the one that cast Paul Rudd and was ready to filmed Ant Man few weeks before he dropped out. Wright was given like 7 years to make Ant Man, the reason why it took so long was because Marvel wanted to do a new script without him, it's literally creative differences that made the movie delayed for too long. Yes they do give directors some creative freedom but definitely not with Wright or even recently Sam Raimi that his Doctor Strange got reshot many times
@@Fl0k5ser They gave Sam Raimi complete creative freedom. The only reshoots were after the movie was delayed since it was originally supposed to come out before NWH and America Chavez was supposed to be in NWH. As well as the Clea scene. But they did not interfere with Raimi's creative lane.
Can't believe Bats make the whole situation worst by killing all the undercover cops and I guest he didn't a memo from Doc. Should have listen to Doc, Bats.
Edgar Wright is one of the most promising and talented writer/directors of this generation I swear the man is a GENIUS with comedic timing and cinematography, they all tell the story he wants to tell so well, dude is a LEGEND!!!...
So freaking sick! Every single thing is on time with the song! Such perfection! I also like that Bats , Buddy, and his wife remind me of gta online characters
All these people are saying "...so cool that the gunshots are in sync with the music" lol damn near EVERY SOUND EFFECT is in some sort of sync, and it's masterful xD
0:52-0:57 I just noticed that the Butcher mentioned the Picnic Shoulder and “the smoking of Pigs,” right at the same time Bats noticed the crate said “APD.” I like that little touch which plays into Bats not only throwing the Butcher’s words back at him, but also firing some rounds into him a few moments later.
The fact that Bats says "Tequila" at the end, implies that he was following along to the song in his head from the moment he listened to Baby's headphones throughout the entire transaction and firefight.
