5:28 The crow took 1 dip in the peas and literally had to wash his mouth out with DIRT!! before going right back to the chicken 🤢 Peas don’t even have they own emoji yet 🤣🤣
We are animals too. And fruits and veggies are always a good thing if they didn’t go off. Even if a random nonhuman animal doesn’t like it. And they also like meat, cheese, eggs, etc but that’s obviously anything but good for any or the planet. It’s fine if wild animals hunt/fish for themselves but that’s the only time it’s ok. Well that or if someone lives in and as part of nature. So your reasoning doesn’t work...
@@Cassxowary He should be giving them raw, unprocessed bleeding heart Liberals. I bet the animals would really go for that, despite the toxicity...and the dangerous drugs they usually contain.
I just found your channel. I am loving it!! Just binge watched 8 in a row. I don't know if you have done one with veggies, (potatoes, carrots, celery, sweet potatoes, cucumbers) vs fresh fruit (tomatoes, berries, pineapple, peaches, oranges) but I would love to see it! tyfs
You get better results if you’d stop contaminating the location with your own scent. Read any book on how to trap for useful information. In short, bobcat, foxes, coyotes, etc. - don’t ask questions, they leave the area at the first hint of anything unusual.
I knew there was a reason Wally T Weasel ( Fischer Weasel) BANANAS!! I love bananas as well. Now the crows.. hmmm Turkey and chicken.. tastes like the souls our weak people! I figured the banana would have been a hit with the trash pandas. The peas are just blah.. how can sweet peas be turned into yuck is beyond me but when mushed they get yucky.
@@masheeee1 .. Living in the country then in the city ( Chicago now) raccoons are always raiding trash cans or dumpsters no matter what part of the country they live in. Now the rats up here are a force to reckon with. I’ve seen signs up in Ally’s that state Do Not Feed The Rats. I’ve seen a few torn down and honestly believe the rats tore them down in protest. This is for work, as soon as this project is over my happy country self is heading back home to small ponds of water and wildlife that don’t carry guns. The rats up here are scary! 😉
It is better to take the contents out of the containers. I’m sure you have probably seen pictures or videos of wildlife and even cats and dogs with containers stuck on their faces/heads.
Interesting video as usual. But it's not a good idea to leave open jars and glass on the forest floor for small animals to investigate and possibly get hurt or stuck.
Maybe during summer when it’s hot make homemade ice blocks, with fruit and verges. I made them for my rabbits and they love them. The Zoo also makes meat ones for the big cats
At the beginning of the pandemic lock down, I got to the grocery store too late. Almost all of the canned vegetables were gone and most shelves were empty--except for no salt added organic sweet peas (quite expensive). I felt so lucky because these were my favorite and I bought the rest. I guess most humans are like the animals.
If you want to get large moths and butterflies . They love sweet liquids. I left a small amount of rinds from melons, cantlopes . On a picnic table and they came right up to me to eat. They didn't care as long as I didn't make sudden movement. It was neat to watch them unfurl their long proboscis and drink from the melon rinds ..they can pierce the meat it is so fascinating . They love it and needed it so bad. I filmed from my phone and took pictures. I had several. It was a hot ,dry Texas state park. Not a lot of flowers and they were not going to worry about me. They were after the liquid ..
This is a cool idea! I worry they may trigger the trail camera too often. Sometimes I face this issue with the mice where they trigger the camera hundreds of times in between larger creatures coming by.
It's two years late, but my son was always fussing when it came time to eat. His mother would get so frustrated while trying to get him to eat. Finally I asked her if she has ever tasted what she was trying to feed him? "No.x she replied. So I told her to eat a spoonful... She quickly understood why the boy was fussing; it was horrible. So we started mashing up vegetables and blending meats and feeding him softer meats. He started eating and didn't stop for 17 years. 😁
You need to place small notice on corner of your video to tell people to NEVER put glass or plastic jars in Forest or in accessible trash pile. Animals can get snout or head stuck in jar as they try to get the food. It’s a slow and painful death sentence. Small Baby food jars have less, but not zero, risk for the animals. And it may train them to seek food in jars and containers.
You'll notice the raccoon got his buddy after he'd eaten all the turkey. Fishercats scare the crap out of me. We once had one in the neighborhood. The sounds it made were like a woman being attacked
Awesome, wish we had these cameras etc in my day…it’s logged tho in my mind. Thanks for the memories! almost any protein I put out was devoured. Fatty meats, suet. ✌🏻
