If I can give you one tip: always put on the cute clothes first! Don’t save them for a special occasion. It’s true what everyone says, they will grow out of it in a matter of weeks and it is even more heartbreaking when it’s something you made yourself. Second tip: you can add snaps between the legs of any pattern. Thank me later 😉 Third top: Ottobre kids had the cutest sewing patterns for babies

I love how happy you are in your pregnancy. You can tell just how joyful your soul seems. Also old wives tales are very accurate for the most part.

Congratulations! I actually just last month used the same fabric for a new born Set for my little girl. I think it's a pretty gender neutral print.

I was so confused when she first brought the color back, because it’s so gender neutral lol. I think it would be adorable with a matching headband for a little girl. Before I knew I was having a boy, I mostly got gender neutral stuff with headbands, in case it was a girl.

Congrats! So exciting!! You will love being parents. My husband & I have been together almost 30 years, married for 20. We had a son in 2010 & are a 'one and done' couple by choice. I love love love having a boy! It's been the joy of my life. My son and are super close, he's my mini-me, basically the boy version of me haha! I love him to the moon and back. You will be wonderful parents and will love having a boy! Awww, forest animal theme is so cute. I love that! My son ended up being obsessed with whales & Star Wars when he got older, but when he was born, we did a "little prince" and medieval knights and castles theme. It was so fun! And historical LOL!

I knew it was a boy! I am also 6 months pregnant and having a boy this summer! I am beyond excited to find many creators I love pregnant within a few weeks from me makes a first-time pregnancy much more exciting. Wishing you and everyone on this journey a safe and healthy pregnancy and delivery.

I'm gonna be real, I would not have been able to clock the gender ahead of time if you'd left the video in color, that print is very neutral and the woodland theme is super common regardless. I love how cute the romper is! It's just as well that it isn't super gendered because that way you can reuse it if you have a second kid, or easily gift it to another family if someone else is going to have a baby, without needing to worry about whether it will "fit" another baby's aesthetic.

Edit: I NEED that fabric!! I have a two month old niece that would look precious in that (no this isn’t a spoiler the color happens to look awesome with the color of her eyes and hair) I’m betting a girl because of the dainty pattern on the fabric. Just a reminder to all parents, especially new ones, that just because Lucy chose a certain color and pattern it doesn’t mean that color is one gender only. Pink long lacy dresses were “boy” clothes in Victorian England after all! ❤

Congratulations! I knew I was having a boy because of how low I carried, too, LONG before we were able to find out at around 6 months in. All of the little flutters of him moving/kicking when he was super small were well under my belly button, so even though it's an old wives tale, I think it rings pretty true. Best of luck with everything - that boy is going to be so loved. :)

Not quite 50...there are born 51 boys everytime there is 49 girls....but girls/women live longer...so there are more female enegy on Earth🎉

So happy for you ❤ The romper turned out great! This is just a suggestion, but I live in Japan and noticed something interesting about the baby clothing here: For clothes that directly touch baby's skin, the side and sleeve seams are sewn facing outward (as if turned inside out)! This is to have the smoother, neater side face towards the skin to cause as little irritation as possible. The neckline is still sewn "correctly" so it looks nice underneath other clothing 😊

You got me I was like that’s like a minimal girl onesies but it could also be a boy becos it’s gender neutral fabric and then I saw the tie for it and thought it was bows😂 so I changed back to girl, congratulations!

Sweet! Thank you for sharing! All the best luck for the rest of the pregnancy and the birth! At first, when you „switched on“ the colours again, I didn’t see any difference because it looks relatively neutral to me at least! But so sweet! We had our girl in October and had a lot of the baby clothes as handmedowns (mostly boys) so some of it is light blue or sailor themed. We don’t care (though I’m not a huge fan of bright pink) but bought some girlier stuff secondhand (MIL was very happy). Animals are a great rather neutral topic, I think if one takes the possibility of a second child into consideration… I love a woodland theme! (Also for educational purposes, and for bringing up with thoughts on animal friendliness?)

Everyone thought I was having a girl when I was pregnant to the point almost everyone around me was calling my bump her/she - I had a son. At first I felt confused and maybe sad because I had begun to imagine life as a mother to a little girl, and that vision was changed - and honestly, I couldn’t imagine having a girl now. I love my son so much. I love being a mother to a boy and all his loving rough and tumble; monster trucks, trains, sunflower and rainbow loving ball of energy who makes every single day a good day to be alive. Congratulations, he’s so lucky to have you two as parents! You’re going to be such a fantastic mom. Enjoy every minute, even those first long hard nights. They go by so, so fast.

You're supposed to always prewash and iron fabric before starting patterns. This allows for any shrinkage to happen before making something, instead of making something, and then washing it and all your hardworking go down the drain because it shrunk in size.
